Kate Lott is a beast, as a soprano I only wish I could reach the notes she does. I suggest their cover of You Will Be Found, it blew me out of the water 😊

Jeremy actually helped them come up with the name Voctave. Go look up the video of them practicing this song before they recorded it. Kate hitting those high note just breaks them down. It's part of the reason Jeremy keeps looking over at Kate during the video. He just can't get over her talent. Puts a new perspective when watching the video.... :)

Voctave is just an outstanding group! And if Disney doesn't have Kirstin voice a Disney Princess, they're fools. Kate Lott, the high soprano for Voctave has a spectacular voice. And not just for the stratospheric high notes, but for the beautiful, pure tone with which she delivers them. Their recent album "The Corner of Broadway and Main Street, Vol. 2" is chock full of wonderful vocals, including another collaboration with Kirstin on "Show Yourself".

One of the songs I like the most from Voctave so far, along with their Princesses Medley (not sure about the real tittle) Kirstie killed it, as well as Voctave (their highest soprano is out of this world... so clean, powerful and pitched...). I believe the guy (Jeremy) was impressed as well steering and smiling at her many times Their bass team is also impressive, very warm and noticeable Excellent performance!

Jeremy was part of the AcoustiKats, the acapella group from University of Kentucky and they were on the SingOff (maybe on Home Free's season?). But I think Kirsten met him on that show, maybe when they came back that season as guest performers? Not sure of the exact details...How sick was that tempo change in the middle of the medley? LOL. This was my first listen of Voctave and I was blown away (plus I almost passed out on that long note at the end. I think I was holding my breath for that). If I remember right, it went viral with over a million hits in the first day or 2.

Jeremy was on The Sing Off, too, with The AcoustiKats, from the University of Kentucky. There is a behind the scenes video where Jeremy keeps breaking up over the sopranos.

Just found your channel. The first Voctave video I saw was with Mark Lowry doing his song "Mary Did You Know." It remains one of my favorites because of Kate's control on the high note at the end. I would love to see you react to it. BTW, Jayme Ray one of the tenors arranges all of Voctave's songs. He arranges them for their specific ranges and strengths. He is a genius.

E.J. Cardona is the guy that blew you out of the water. He is amazing. When I worked at Disney I had the amazing good fortune to sing with him in several of the Actor's Equity charity concerts that Encore: Disney Cast Choir and Orchestra at Disney World.

I had the incredible good fortune to see Kate sing live at Epcot in February, with Voices of Liberty...I am 100% sure there were other members of Voctave there, and I THINK that is where they met, but she is 100% legit live or recorded. Just as an aside, that high note that Kate hits several times in this is a C6, she steps up to an E6 (I think she goes to the 5th, and drops back to the C, but it could also be the F...) basically insane high notes.

I think Jeremy is just kind of in a state of shock. If you watch the rehearsal video, any time Kate goes up really high, they have to stop because Jeremy is kind of taken back by the amount of talent thats around him. Its actually a pretty cool video to watch. But yeah, everyone in this video has some serious pipes.

Actually, the AcoUstiKats were on the season after Pentatonix, which was the season that Home Free won. They were eliminated in a double elimination with Voiceplay, as the fifth and sixth place finishes.

As 12ozHog said... It was Jeremy who suggested Voctave's name! Voctave - as in the roman numeral "V" for the # 5 + "octave" = the group with a 5-octave range - VOCTAVE. And, yes. Jeremy was at that time [but no longer] Kirstin's fiancée. I love watching Jeremy's constant smile, head-shaking & looking over at Kate [the soprano] in amazement when she hits her high notes, and at Voctave's wall of sound. In my humble opinion, Voctave is THE Greatest Acapella Group EVER on the Planet! Then comes 3 groups who all competed on the NBC-TV show The Sing-Off - Pentatonix a ways back at #2 [who won Season #3], with Home Free [who won Season #4] & VoicePlay [who got eliminated early in Season #4, (in my opinion) because of having a different female member than Rachel Potter, who they often sing with now] tied for #3 & 4 as the current Top 4 Best Acapella Groups!
