I am 76 years old and spent a large part of my life trying to” fit” in. Never worked just led me into single. Christ redeemed me and now I am content with the fact that I do not fit in this satanic world . Christ is all I need.
I stopped once in high school. To me, trying to fit in is too much like trying to navigate an unpredictable/interchangable, multilayered spider web. The "crowd" loves the sin not the sinner. Jesus loves the sinner not the sin. I.e. The Christ Jesus is not a shallow backstabber.
I seek out reminders that i am a sinner in need of a savior, and that i need to fear the Lord! I was born again after the Lord used His Word to open my eyes to see the reality that i was NOT a good person, and that without Christ i would end up spending eternity in hell. That terror is what led me to finally understand how previous the gift of salvation is, and that i needed Jesus!!! I never want to forget that!!
Speaking of Japan. I've been attending a Japanese church in the countryside for a year and a few months. I'm just now beginning to understand the sermons😅. I've felt so at home since day 1 despite not having enough Japanese to understand the sermons. Btw, my Japanese is okay, just not good enough to understand Bible stuff

Thank you Mr. Baucham for preaching the Bible, for leaving politics out of the word and doing what Jesus said teaching the word. I know you have other channels and there you do say what’s wrong in the world but when you preach and teach it is only the word of God. Thank you.
Glory to the Sovereign God and His truth : VODDIE , truly you are a messager from Yahweh sent to deliver his message to a fallen people, I thank God for you Sir yeah I so desperately need God's message in truth , lately I am becoming spiritually mature for this is what my heart yearns deeply , I feel really bad for my war against God's truth for all those years being his enemy and slave to sin and his demonic spirits , I must say with all honesty I embrace such a feeling at this time in my life because I believe this will keep me more alert with the spirit of decernment of the wicked tactics of the enemy who I once was a slave . I pray someday I'll be afforded the opportunity to attend an event where Voddie Baucham is speaking. Why is it that most of the really good bible teachers and preachers are in California or Texas? I listen to all the "Big Guns" for Christ (as I call them). Entrenched in Indianapolis Indiana, the closest, whom I consider a big gun is Allistair Begg who is near Cleveland. I'll have to discover his schedule so I can visit Parkside church. But I so want to hear all of the Ligonier fellows in person. Just a sec while I google something... Oh my, where are you now, Dr. Baucham? Sun Valley, Ca., Spring Texas, Zambia? Looks like a more strenuous research is needed. God bless you all.
Struggling with desires of the flesh here. The Bible tells us that Jesus defines the sin of lust as involving just the mere thought of finding someone of the sex you would be physically intimate with, physically attractive. For example, a man that sees a woman for whom he finds physically attractive has committed the sin of lust because if given the chance, under the right conditions, he would consider acting upon the opportunity or at the very least, fantasize about it. This is a sin that I would surmise ensnares most adults, young and old alike, routinely. I experience guilt on a daily basis because of this and cannot figure out how to stop finding certain women attractive. I have to repent daily upon waking for the sin I am sure to commit that day. Thoughts of women even come to me while asleep. How do we combat this?
To his point on the Gospel not being equally accessible to all; would we, the Church value the Gospel as much if it were equally handed out to all people? Knowing human nature, I know what my prediction would be.
I love Voddie. What I can't stand is the alteration you do with the graphics. It looks cheap.... Hollywood... ooohhh shiney!!!.... The Gospel needs no bling, smoke machines.... etc. Please stop. 😕

What Voddie should know! The bible defines SIN as the transgression of God's law . See 1 John 3:4 .. The seventh day weekly sabbath IS A PART OF GOD'S LAW. See Exodus 20:8-11. In old testament times when one deliberately violate God's law... he was put to death. See Exodus 31:15. Exodus 35:2 Numbers 15:30. In new testament times when one deliberately violate God's perfect law .. his ten commandment , Jesus told them that their WORSHIP WAS IN VAIN. See Mathew 15:9. Mark 7:7. Voddie... stop sleeping... WAKE UP!
So you’re a seven day adventist. We get it you keep the sabbath. But saying Voddie is sleeping is really far fetched. Don’t think for a moment somehow you aren’t asleep. Voddie is preaching the gospel, which Jesus commanded all to do. You are like a pharisee and you’re stuck on doctrine, proving your doctrine is right, it’s all about you, not about Jesus. Jesus fulfilled the law, so because we never could. Remember he said if you lust in your heart you already broke the law by committing adultery. It’s not the message of the law, it’s the message of the gospel, we all are sinners and need a savior. The Holy Spirit living in us, guiding us, teaching us. But you can continue to keep the sabbath, but remember there’s no reward in thinking you are better than others like the pharisees. I’m going to listen and learn from Voddie and preach the gospel, the power of the cross.
