As a teenager, I went on a "missions trip" to the Navvaho tribe we went to in Nixon, Nevada. I was the only one who handed out New Testaments. The whole thing was a bad scene. These people knew what we were about, and all the coyly warm things that people said and did fell on deaf ears. Can you blame them? They had already heard our schtick, which came not from scripture, but from the flesh. It's impossible to adequately describe salvation when you are not, yourself, saved. And once you are saved, you should know deep in your person, that GOD did it, not you.
Voddie is a brave man of God who speak to our culture the truth without hesitation and uncompromising. We need to pray for him that God protects and guide him.
What makes the Good News good is forgiveness!!! I have lived a wretched life! And I am forgiven!!! The Lord has forgiven all that evil and made me His child!!! Now that is GOOD NEWS!!!
Good news isn't that we are forgiven. Good news is we who believe have His Life within us. If we keep focusing in on forgiveness that went out to the entire world according to John the Baptist...then we will keep guiding people back to a cross that Jesus is no longer on... maybe even a Burial tomb where Jesus is no longer. Jesus said He came to give us life...not forgiveness. That's like saying you went to a restaurant to use a fork and spoon. No. You went there to eat. We must must must focus on Life... His life.
Sin is a poison that kills with time and the only way to be delivered is by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior; allowing the Holy Spirit to change us from the inside out into a new creature, made in the image of GOD.

I love listening to Pastor Baucham! A true man of God. Between my pastor, Voddie Baucham and Paul Washer I’ve been able to overcome a lot. It helps having men like these to teach and preach the true gospel without bowing to the wokeness of this world we live in.

If Jesus only died for a certain number of people who are called the elect, then how is that in any way, shape, or form "good news?" Calvinism, the religion of this man, is really the bad news of a sadistic deity who created the majority of mankind to suffer torment forever. There is no good news in Calvinism. The truly Good News for all mankind is that God has died to save all, that it is his will to save all, and that he will. Have mercy on all.not just a few who are called the elect, but all mankind.
It's the Father that does the works through His Son, who has made it possible for me to be adopted, grafted in to God's family as a Son of the living GOD !

Sadly, many so-called Christians don't see that part as Good News too. They want to stay just like I am and having a form of godliness but denying the Power thereof.

@@mshopey32 As I said. Contradiction. 2 different books of the bible. 2 different messages. 2 (probably more) writers with different agendas and motivations. The book contradicts itself so much so that you can get out of it whatever you want to. Further, the scripture you are references is vague. Sheep of a different pen? It is open to interpretation (what do you want it to say or mean?). While Matthew 10 is direct. "Go NOT into the way of the Gentiles...."

Jesus extended his grace to many Gentiles before he died and commanded the 11 to go and preach to all the nations after his resurrection. But like Jesus said, no one, [not even a Jew,] can draw closer to him unless Yahweh makes it so
@@mshopey32 Like I said it is a contradiction. Why was jebus so crystal clear in Mathew 10? It is a mess. It is obvious that it's the faulty writing of humans, and not that of an all perfect deity.
This entire sermon is enough to make a Catholic shiver in their boots or grit their teeth in defiance. Hopefully some ask themsleves why they have such a negative emotional response to the gospel, that they may check their hearts. Lord willing.
In the beginning as he explains the missionaries falling out of trees, you hear the congregation laughed, but it’s not funny. I was on the mission field for 12 years In China and I saw the exact same things that he speaks about the way he speaks about them is exactly true. I saw it and I heard it with my own eyes. I was new to the Missions field at that time in 2007 being already 48 years old. I had a lot to learn in those first years. The best piece of advice I got before I left was from a missionary, who was very old at the time and he still serving today. He told me and I quote. “ it won’t be the Chinese people that you will struggle with, it will be the missionaries already there “. I value brother Baucham and his reverence for God. Along with his teaching of the true God of the Bible and I-hope that the Lord would grant me the privilege of hearing a sermon amongst the brothers and sisters of Zambia one day.

The good news are good because they help us to see our sinful condition the way God sees it and they help us to recognize our separation from God and show us the way to solve both situations.

I thank God For Voddie ...what I feel ashamed for is how he manage to stay focused 😮during all cries an noises from the back of the church. He has more respect for the the parents with that level of cries . He puts me to shame. Cause I myself gave up that privilege an go to mothers room raising 3 kids in church. I'm shocked 😮We can really as mums get a bit more respect for this mighty Man of God .
0:57-1:07 And THAT is why, 9 times out of 10, my wife & I do not donate to fundraising letters we get from young Johnny & Susie’s upcoming “missions trip”. Case in point: This past spring, we received said letter from a young person; the child of someone we know. Knowing what we do about their Big Eva church, we do not give any money to the trip fundraising. Fast forward a few months later…this past weekend, when said young person was at a picnic we were at, my wife and I asked how they shared the Gospel when they went on their “missions trip”. The response was that they helped do landscaping for people, mailed letters, and went to Niagara Falls’ Cave of the Winds. And one of the worst things about this? These young people will go back to their Big Eva church, and be made to think by pastor that they’re Eric Liddell or Hudson Taylor. Again, THIS is why we nearly never financially support missions trips. Be Bereans.
My former church did this same thing! A mission trip to Niagara Falls area to work on yards and houses no Gospel. And it wasn't even for people who couldn't do the work. Some of the work help recipients were healthy married couples who were too busy to work on their yard, and again, no Gospel.
Matthew 11: 29,30. Learn of me. Do a little better each day. Concerning becoming part of the Kingdom of God, the Church. Believe in him, sin no more, be baptized by emerson, and live a clean life. Voddie, in order for obedience to happen, the believer must be WILLING to be obedient. Faith without works is dead. I sat in a church for several years wondering why no-one understood the Ressurection from the Dead, which is a basic precept, and why almost everyone there refused to do good works and acted like atheists during the week! This problem is in every American Church and it is because a false version of the Gospel is being preached. Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and America will return from the dead.
Even that willingness to obey is a work of the Holy Spirit which is what Voddie is speaking to. It is produced in us who believe, truly believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Ezekiel 36:27 (NIV) And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws We receive the Holy Spirit ( the helper) when we believe. The Holy Spirit is what causes the one who was dead in their trespasses and sin and disobedient, (Ephesians 2:1-4) to be moved to serve the Lord. To respond to the call that they’ve been called.

And for those who think that we're going to get out of here before the mark of the beast need to read Revelation chapter 20
I enjoy Vodie's sermons and agree withmost of them. I noticed that in Genesis 3:16 that it says that Eve will have a desire for Adam not contrary to Adam. I not sure what translation is being used. I used NKJV. and NIV.

The Gospel is the Good News which means that we live forever. The Good News is that believers live forever and NOT that we are saved from an eternity in hell. One would have to be immortal to be in hell forever. Only believers in Christ live forever. The Good News is God has given us eternal life and this life is in his son, he who has the son has life (eternal life) and he who does not have the son does not have life. Eternal life is living forever, and that is something we did not have before having the Son. All unbelievers will not live forever because they do not have the Son. Which also means that they will not suffer forever because they are not immortal. People are not born immortal. Believing in the Son qualifies us for immortality. To believe in hell really robs Christ of what he accomplished at the cross and resurrection, Eternal Life is a gift. If everyone lives forever, where then is the Gift? A study of the Greek words in the historic grammatical usage in the New Testament will show that death, destruction, and perish all mean the same thing.....cease to exist. The majority of passages in the new testament regarding final judgment uses these terms and their meaning is fixed from the historical Greek usage. There are a few exceptions in Revelations which seem to indicate an eternal punishment but compared to the preponderance of verses that in the Greek mean death - total dissolution of ones being.The Gospel that is Good News does not include salvation from eternal torment....The Good News is that fellowship with the Son qualifies me to live forever. I can smile and be happy and thankful about that and share enthusiastically. I once believed as you do but through further study of volumes of books, not utube shorts, I have come to this happy conclusion. Also, those good human beings who have never heard of Christ will be judged by Him and it could be possible that they would be granted eternal life. In 2nd Peter it says that Christ preached the gospel to those who perished in the deluge. I don’t know the outcome for every class of people, but what I do know from doing my homework is that believers have eternal life and non-believers do not suffer in hell forever and that is strictly biblical. There may be hope for some even after they die but our job is to not know all but tell people the Good News. The wages of sin is death, the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord!! I apologize for anyone that I have offended with my comments. I believe the above and have investigated this for more than 10 years. I did not get the info from the internet. I have read a lot of books.....this in inself does not make what I said correct.....but I believe this to be the Good News. Can I not say something if I believe this to be 100% true? Jesus, the faithful witness, states in the scriptures -that he is a man: “but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did.” John 8:40 God will judge the people of the earth by the man (Jesus) He has appointed. Notice that even after God raised Jesus from the grave, he is still called a man. “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” Acts 17:3 Jesus says he has a God and Father, the same one that we have also…if we believe and follow the true Jesus. “Do not cling to Me,” Jesus said, “for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go and tell My brothers, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.’ ” John 20:17
I don't really think that cursed is the ground because of you is the correct translation. I read it in context as cursed is the ground for "thy sake". Big difference
Don't elevate confessions of faith to something that can be "forsaken". Confessions cannot be piggy-backed onto. Please stop that. You are correct about adoption, but I don't care what some bunch of people who I cannot adequately inspect their fruits (since they're dead) confessed. Words on paper don't really mean anything. Their confession does me no good, it doesn't confess FOR ME. Stop elevating that to some great place. Adoption is a doctrine found in the WORD. That's all I need to know. It doesn't help you one whit to say "look at those old dusty and dead dudes over there that said some words I agree with, I'm going to prop those words up and make them be something more than the words of sinful men". Preach adoption from the Bible, not from other's confessions, and don't beat people over the head with them.
Why can't our Pope/Priests preach this???!!! There are a billion Catholics. With all our traditions, Mama Mary and infinite saints to whom we pray to, we Catholics practically run this world. And look how wicked it is.
The good news of the Gospel that means absolutely nothing until you understand conciliation 2nd Corinthians 5 with the whole world that Christ actually did something for sinners all sinners you have no hope and no message
The Israelites are the only ones who are callED and belovED. The good news is their eventual salvation from the curses that they are in due to the past sins of their forefather and themselves. LISTEN TO THE CLUES AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH EPISTLE THAT TELLS YOU WHO THE AUDIENCE IS.
I know that the live sessions are more important than the online "overflow" but the background noise from the children is very distracting and sometimes overwhelms the message. I agree with the person who is grieved by the inappropriate ads, as I am. Voddie is such a dynamic and terrific teacher, it's a shame, the noises off drown it out. 😶
@juiceman9165 the church I used to go to had a "cry" room which isolated the noise from the rest of the church yet had audio so the parents/children could hear the message. It must be distracting for the parents to be preoccupied with keeping the noise down.
The Good News? "Hey a supreme being that nobody has ever seen gave some dirt farmers in the middle east a handful of books to write, then had a dude use magic to free slaves that we can't find any historical record of existing, who got a bunch of books written about him for the supreme being's dirt farmer books, and they made it into a whole big book, then the supreme being decided that showing up and forgiving everyone personally wasn't convoluted enough so he killed a guy to show how sorry he was that he was being a jerk up till then, and now if you swear loyalty to this supreme being he won't send you to a bad place where you get tortured forever even if like, you're a super cool person who feeds the hungry and clothes the naked and junk" is not what I'd call great news or even ok news I would be very very concerned why someone would call the actions of a psychopath good news.
