I play highlight clips and provide a cold reaction to the disturbing things that were preached. I also make the case that his beliefs and statements have opened the floodgates wide open for the embracing of his same beliefs throughout the Church. Sin is sin regardless of WHO instigated it. Celebrating an evil ungodly covenant must never stand and must never be celebrated by a transformed Christian. Those people KNOW that you stand on the gospel of Jesus Christ and are more than likely searching for a way of castigating the Christian for their biblical beliefs in Christ
I have been shut out of my daughter's and granddaughter's lives because I will not renounce my faith in God. And, I have spoken to them about what the Bible says about the LGBTQ lifestyle. I struggle with feelings of rejection that I have had since childhood. It is only by God's strength and His love for me that I can go on.
Jesus Christ went to a marriage between a Man and a Woman, this is the normal and GOD given ordained Will of His own making, that is how He has Ordained a marriage setting to be like.
Powerful and inspiring message for the saints who are enabled to percefer through the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ✝️🤍 Thank you for your gracious strength dearest God. With you everything is possible. In Jesus name. Amen ✝️🤍
17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” 18 “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 ✝️
Ephesians 4:29-32 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you
If you don't know what to do when you are invited, just follow the things that God wants and what his words say and get you answers from the Bible... to attend, you are not living a Christian life and God will not be pleased
Did Jesus suffer by the power of God when he spoke to the woman at the well who had five husbands plus. Or when he let the woman who washed his feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. Or do weside with the Pharisee who claimed superiority to the tax collector and say that we are not like him.
Jesus suffered more than we will ever imagine and we follow in His footsteps as believers in Christ. We share in the suffering of Christ. We endure persecution by the grace of God. That is Christianity. No believer would ever boast in their own worthiness. Not a single one of us is worthy of the grace of God!
I cannot and will not accuse Voddie Baucham or any other particular pastor by name, but I wonder how many pastors have presided over the weddings of people who were actively engaged in fornication prior to their wedding day? And I wonder how many might have known about the fornication prior to the wedding, and how many performed the wedding knowing that the parties to the wedding never repented of that sin? Again, I'm not saying this about Voddie, but "Let he who is without this sin..." (attending the equivalent of a gay wedding)....
I'm not certain this is an equivilent comparison. Yes, we are called to purity. No doubt. Sex before marriage carries with it it's own problems. I can't find a biblical equivalency between an engaged couple having sex ( remember, this isn't the ideal), and a same sex union. There are most definitely references against same sex relationships...homosexual and lesbian.
@@PreachingforGodsGlory I appreciate your reply, and I think it is fair to say that both your reply and Jesus's actions speak to motive and intent, those two aspects that seem to get scant consideration when it comes to Alistair's advice given to the grandmother. Might she also pass the test by refusing to condone but preaching the gospel to them? And, if so, exactly how would she do that, both to the two wedding participants and to the other attendees, if she were not present?
@LarryBradley I answer the question as to the advice the grandmother should've received here (which, of course, includes sharing the gospel and urging for repentance): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sg64Lns-lWA.html
Totally agree! We cannot support a couple making a promise to continue their lives together as an abomination to God! They have a distorted love and distorted sex life.
I have lost my older son, my brother, and his whole family (a brother who says he's a Christian) ... and a few friends. I keep in mind that there are people in other countries who are being jailed or killed for their faith. When I feel like I am suffering the loss of many people I love, there are those who suffer unto their freedom and life.
God or the potter makes vessels or people for noble purposes or Ignoble purposes. Your relatives are the latter being used by Satan to take you down by compromising God’s requirements. I feel I am the last standing from my relatives who have all compromised and remade God’s principles or a God unto themselves. Satan wants us isolated and I very much am isolated But God has said who hates this life is worthy and being faithful teaches this.
So how is your lack of relationship with your son brother and family going to help them get to Christ? They certainly didn't come to Christ because you broke off a relationship because you don't agree with their lifestyle so what did you break it off for exactly? Unless they were being abusive or toxic if you just broke it off because you didn't agree their lifestyle well it's not like that's going to make them come to Christ is it?
@@angelaford944so clearly they didn't break it off in alister beggs case so what would the point be of him not attending the wedding what would be there to gain by doing that?
@ALJR223 I am really not understanding you. What other people do and how they walk with the Lord isn't for me to have an opinion. In my case, my oldest son is a narcissist, and my brother is a sociopath. You can't lead people to Christ with affirmations of sin, nor is it our job to save people. We are to share the good news. God does the work in the hearts of people. I don't really understand why you're bringing up Alister Begg. Maybe because I don't remember what this video is about. Too many pastors are comprising the word of God to be praised by men. You start compromising on his word it'll only get worse. It is happening in pulpit across the United States and the world, for that matter. They want to bully us into submission of their worldview and not what God has already said.
1 Corinthians 5:11 I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.
It’s not just gay weddings. We wouldn’t condolences my sister’s illegitimate marriage upon theological grounds and we were vilified for our stance. It’s been a problem for longer than the gay/trans issue came up. I wish people would speak more in the defence of marriage amongst the heterosexuals who profane it too.
So losing relationships with family members and friends is going to help those family members and friends come to Christ? I don't see how alistair not attending the family was wedding is going to lead people to Christ

I've never been in the position, but I think I would treat an invitation to an LGBT wedding the same way I would treat an invitation to any other non-christian wedding. Do we treat other cultural or societal weddings, Buddhist, Humanist, Civil with the same mindset as these? But once they try and set themselves up as a semblance of something "biblical" then I would make my stand.
It's very different. This might help: 5 Reasons Why a Christian Should Never Attend an LGBT Wedding (linking to a portion of a livestream - it should go right to the timestamp around the 1hr 8min mark): ru-vid.com8Ph3AA5Q5_A?si=SDXLbWxAhjkrN5Wc&t=4119 That segment is maybe 5 - 7 min.
In all Godly respect, the issue is not a theological test. I am not opposed to the word theological, however, Jesus never said his church would be built on theology. When Peter said: “…You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied: “Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” What rock? The rock of revelation of who Jesus Christ is; and he is the word made flesh. And, that word abhors the abomination and perversity of any union outside of a man and woman before God.
"What rock? The rock of revelation of who Jesus Christ is; and he is the word made flesh." Well said. That is theology. "Theos" = God "ology" = study of. Theology is the study of God and what you believe about God. If you believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh than you have passed the theological test of who Jesus is. Theology is more than just head knowledge. It should should lead to obedience and godly living. I think I understand your line of thinking though. Feel free to call it a test of faithfulness instead. Either way, I hope the video was beneficial. God bless!
@@PreachingforGodsGlory Yes, my brother. I understand where you’re coming from. Theology is the study of God and what we believe. Revelation from the Father is his grace to us. When Peter spoke the those words, Jesus nailed down how revelation comes. “Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven. Paul wrote: “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” And again: “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” Man studies God, but grace reveals God to man. God bless…
Shame on the American Christian Church! The events about a particular Pastor, 1) Taken out of context. 2) This should not have taken place in social media, but quietly within the Body of Christ. Thank You
He was just preaching the Bible. The Alistair Begg Controversy was not a thing yet. Nobody even knew that Begg said what he said when Baucham preached this in October of 2023. Try to not be offended by the Word of God. God bless!
