OMFG. You have just taught me how to BELT. LOL. 3-4 years I have been searching/practicing. OUT OF ANYONE in RU-vid teaching this stuff, YOU are the only one to PUT A SMILE in my singing! Literally. SO THAT was the key for me. And I've seen this video years before, I guess I shouldn't have skipped some parts of this vid and it would have saved me those years lol. Thank you so much for this Dileesa!

I took several semesters of voice lessons and EVERYTHING you're teaching is correct. You are on point girl. I hope you take your teaching seriously, you're really good!!! It's seriously exactly what my teacher said, use your head voice in every part of your singing.

You rock, lady! I'm at that point now; I have a very extended range and good control of my headvoice...when applied to opera. But I want to sing pop! For the longest time higher notes with that "pop/belt" sound were just...elusively out of my grasp! It was so sad. But I'm working on making those money notes happen and making great progress :) You're so right, it's all about that bright, forward front mix! I used to sing so heavy and just choke off at a certain point but not anymore :)

Your absolutely delightful! I'm a songwriter and I sometimes try to work on own my singing voice so that the artists I work with can better understand me while I'm teaching them the lyrics to my songs. I've been told that I have a decent voice (for a writer), but I enjoy learning different techniques to improve myself. I'll pass along anything I learn from you to others. Everyone can use great tips! Your very good! Keep up the great work!

Once again I find that you deliver plenty of quality when it comes to answering questions that aspiring singers have on a daily basis. I found your tutorial very informative. I like how you gave several different examples and ways for singers to go about practicing to achieve said goal. Sometimes one size doesn't always fit all and you took this into account. Your voice sounded lovely and I can tell you really have the power to back up what you say. Keep it up! Best, Marvin P.S. I like your tip about how to sing pop by singing with a smile. Very simple but powerful:-]

Thank you, Dileesa. Really appreciate your sharing all that you've learned. God will bring it back to you 100 fold. I have a light voice with pretty good range. Have never had formal training, but took voice lessons here and there. Seems like there are SO many different styles of teaching. Gets confusing.
