When I sent this arrangement to Ricky Dillard and New G back in 2019, I never imagined he'd actually do it...and NEVER dreamed Thomas would be the one singing it!! Thanks for your brilliant analyzation. Blessings!!
Thanks a lot for recommending this arrangement to Ricky Dillard and New G. What he and Thomas Allen did with this song left me speechless. Thanks for being obedient. 🙇🏾♂️
OMG I attended Morgan State with Thomas Allen! It's so fulfilling to see him thrive in his God given talent. He's always been, in my opinion, unequivocally one of the best vocalists I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. As always, I LOVE your accurate assessments and commentaries Jaron. Please keep being great!
The "thyroid cartilage" breakdown at 4:15 was so brilliant, I had to run it back two or three times. It's so rare that we hear clarity on HOW we do things with our voices. This kind of teaching is what's gonna preserve our vocal chords years down the line!
His voice after he entered college went crazy! When he was a young child you could hear that he had a special gift but the training he received throughout his childhood and into adulthood. Jesus! Keep grinding Thomas! #DanvilleVA
This amazing vocal analysis is one have been waiting on! This guy singing is a vocal beast and his training shows in this song. You have given me so much clarity and understanding of my own voice. I too am a countertenor that uses all aspects of my voice to tell a story or paint a picture! You’re amazing! Jaron keep doin whatcha doin!!!!!
Jaron @10:43 - you're absolutely right, this song is masterfully complex delivered simply packaged. I believe this is what make great art - when a "very-well put together body of work" offers new findings and discoveries over time that the user/listener can thoughtfully appreciate. Great observation.
I'm relatively new to these analysts' take on gospel, but I love your breakdown because it's professional and relatable at the same time. Please continue to bring people like me (vocally challenged) into a knowledge I might otherwise not be exposed to.
Now this right here! I’ve been WAITING, wishing for you to analyze this video for some time. He is an impeccable musician and vocalist. A great vocal performance from an incredible project! Excellent analysis, per usual.
YOU are so amazing. Every time I watch your show I learn so much about the voice and how it can be used to produce various sounds when singing.I wish more people could hear your show you really know your craft young man you TRULY DO!
I love your videos, mainly Ricky and New G. I’m a BIG fan going back to the beginning in 1989 when they won McDonald’s gospel fest. Thomas’ voice is aaahmazing!! ❤️😊
This is my favorite song ! I was waiting on this review

Jaron, could you please analyse Kim Burrell SANGING Perfect Peace at Shawn McLemore Memorial Concert: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k0coTyd67XQ.html (until 5:25) Here are some other views to the same performance (if you prefer): 1. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Uv4jYaSuSFw.html 2. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k9E6Sa0x4k0.html
Awesome analysis. Awesome song! Just awesomeness all around! I'm so glad you did this, I have played this song over and over for so many months. Just stuck on how good Thomas is. Would love to hear you analyse Darrel Walls some day!
Thank you, so much for the small tips. I was contacted last week to sing this in a Concert. Crazy right, God said do it. I am so grateful for the gift he's given me
🗣JARON!! Thank you for sharing your gifts to the world through your channel! Your love for God (and New G 😉) bleeds through this video, especially the end!! I can go on & on but I’ll share these points: #1: thank.YOU.for analyzing this song for the thousands of us who have been in your comments 🤣 he did it y’all! 🙌🏽😩 2ndly: your analyzation of songs/gifts (particularly gospel music/singers) which in my eyes, a genre that is slowly but swiftly becoming an endangered one, ✌🏽IS✌🏽 one of the life-lines thats holding the genre up by providing deeper exposure to our musical culture! How do I know? I’m one of your day one subscribers and watching you/your channel evolve esthetically, followers grow to the TWENTIES of THOUSANDS but your choice of songs to analyze shows that you literally “understand the assignment” by providing consistency and meaningful content!! No one is doing it the way you are and that’s nothing but GOD using YOU!! You tell us to be “authentically you” after every video and you are doing just that…which.is.rare! You’re so necessary to the culture of gospel music & I appreciate the emphasis on educating each viewer on how gospel singers praise, bless & honor God with their vocal abilities is a blessing! ThankU x millions.billions.trillions🖤 Lastly: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! 🧡🦃🍁 we just love you!!
🤩 I am so grateful for having discovered this man through you Jaron! Ugh! And You BETTA PREACH Sirs! “Use your voice your way”….ugh! Yes! 🙏 Chills from you both! I’m so healthily addicted to your channel.
Good brother I never have to request because you bring them right on time👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I love this song and all the voices were phenomenal. Bravo to the Mistro himself, Thee Ricky Dillard🌹!!!
I would love for you to do an evaluation on one of the world's greatest falsetto singers.. ((Sylvester)) People in the church in the dance halls in the nightclubs everywhere he's a legend and people everywhere knows who he is.. So don't be a shame or afraid to bring him to your platform!!
You should do peace be still by kelontae Gavin it’s just like this song but he had a different approach vocally but I would still like to see/hear your feedback on it
Jaron you sure he ain't yo long lost brother cause yall singing voices are giving very much from the same womb, the same bosom.😏 He so talented and anointed with the spirit. But I'm sure yall is siblings.
Looks like you are slimming down. Looking good sir. Fantastic analysis, I love this song. It brings tears to my eyes. The soloist is just so incredible.
That "spread" that you analyzed at 10:50 is what I think of as the quintessential Gospel Sah-pran-uh sound. It's what I hear at times in the voices of Callie Day, Chrystal Rucker, Tiffany Mosley, Deniece Williams ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_Uqfo5_CHEY.html ), and others. When compared to freaks of nature like Karen Clark-Sheard or Lashun Pace the voices are always a little bit lighter and "heady". Every time I hear it I think of CHOICH.
“...It actually can, you just don’t know how to let it go that low.” Oop! Lol. The head voice/falsetto debate is so tired. Just sing! Loving these frames on you. Happy thanksgiving 🦃
I just call myself a soprano or alto mostly, but yeah - still the same notes, I just access them differently. These vocal range types/fachs are derived from Western European music, so even that can make these titles a bit ambiguous and limiting.
Sending the original performs to my mom's back home in the Netherlands. We love us some food singer and music! Again I'm learning as you speak/analyze and hope I get to my innercourage again at some point and start singing again, cause right now everything is locked..from yaw to vocalchords! Loving the frame on you! Looks good. Happy Thanksgiving ❤
Well, I’m trying some new things to condense the video and see how they do. Lol. It also cuts down a ton in editing and recording. I may bring the intro back!
Can you PLEAAAAAASE do Lucresia Campbell ...the best gospel operatic singer ever❤️❤️❤️❤️ this song specifically ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0ZUldiDi71Y.html
