Hi J! Glad you did this. I love this song and I don’t understand a word. I now understand how Michael Jackson’s non-English speaking fans felt. By the way he released an official video with English subtitles. I couldn’t keep up with all of them-they go by so fast. I didn’t bother to much anyway because I watched that Colors video a thousand times already. My 5 year old niece asks me to play it. She loves music too. i dont even sing nor do majority of singers give me chills. but the first time i heard the french doods voice, i was captivated. shit is trans-universal to my ears and sounds intergalactic. i listent o music heavy and appreciate all voice types. but, i had neveer come across a voice like his: listening to French, German, Japanese, or american singers. i wanna hear more but i fell this might be it.

Yame's musical influence must be partially French (old school singers: Aznavour, Leo Ferre etc...), but he also has deep Cameroonian roots, as his father was a professional musician from that country. Insane talent and very original too. Voix magnifique.
