Didn’t you notice Dimash’s high note (D6) there at the end...Aida kept sustaining the G5, while Dimash jumped to a fifth above her, executing that phenomenal high note (D6)...
So may reactors miss that..... Aida's voice is remarkable - her voice & Dimash's voices really mesh beautifully..... but Dimash at the locked in that D6 placement - he's a Gift from God...... & I also am fascinated watching Igor during the performance - he is so humble & the pride & joy expressed over his face gives the impression that he's just as excited as the audience to be in the presence of these great vocal talents
Dimash and Aida are a beautifully matched pair, both vocally and aesthetically. I absolutely love when they harmonize, and the way their vibratos sound together. The composition is captivating as well. This is in my personal Top 3 of Dimash's duets. Dimash took the high last note of the piece :-). It's remarkable that he could take that note so perfectly that if you're not watching carefully it sounds like Aida, the premier soprano of the Vienna Opera House. Cute story: During the rehearsal for this piece, Aida told Igor that if she had to leave early Dimash could sing her part.

Dimash a trained opera singer was offered a place at the Astana Opera but respectfully turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful with his choice. By the way you missed that Dimash did the very last super high notes. Aida is a solo soprano with the Venice Opera and is also from a turkic culture like Dimash, she is a Tartar so that is probably a contributory factor in why their voices and tones match so well ❤
Just straighten out some fact. Dimash is a pop singer. Aida is a trained opera singer. Dimash will agree on that. And Dimash only was offered a place as a Student in a Barouque class. Any pop singer can apply for such a "position".

Hi Valerie and thank you for this beautiful reaction. This is one of my favorite Dimash and Aida song. I never knew about Aida until watching this song because of Dimash. I think she is fabulous and I adore her voice. If you wanted to react to another nice song ( which is from the same show) there is one other which is with Dimash, Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian and it is called "TI AMO COSY". I know that people rave about Lara Fabian and maybe it's probably just a personal choice but I think Aida's voice is magnificent and I like her better. Perhaps I just like her higher notes and the warmth in her voice which I don't hear in Lara's, Lara is wonderful too of course, but I prefer Aida's voice, but they just have a different style. Then again I am not a singer nor am I an opera-trained person so hey..... what do I know?? Why do fans keep telling that the last top note was sung by Dimash? Wouldn't a professional vocalist notice that? If she didn't hear it means Dimash didn't hit that final note, Aida did. I love Dimash, but I don't love those his fans who exaggerate, creating myths and rumours. Dears, be reasonable, and humble as Dimash I have read so much misinformation and exaggeration about him. It's frustrating. You repell non-fans, ordinary people who sincerely get interested in Dimash, but then come across so much exaggeration, basically lies.
Why did he have to sing the high D at the end? Couldn't she do it? That's silly. I mean that was written for a soprano and a baritone, not for a soprano and an alien. Why not sing it the way it was written? I don't get it
Fach voice classification is the shotgun marriage of Italian and German voice classifications and I do not like it at all. It forces the singers into little boxes. The shortcomings of the system become apparent when special talents like Dimash emerge. Maria Callas had several issues due to Fach system as well in the 50's.
