He is called "El Potrillo" because his father calls his three sons "Los tres potrillos" (The three foals) and Alejandro is the youngest. "Los tres potrillos" is also the name of the ranch where his father lives in honor of his three sons.

My grandpa had a ranch near los tres potrillos. I am Tapatía but came to USA young. I always try to go by the ranch when I’m near by, sometimes you could bump into Chente 😁💕 very welcoming and down to earth. He just started singing for the people visiting the ranch. Rest in peace Chente 😭🇲🇽💕

Hi Master Of Voice, this is Egroove. Thank you for introducing me to this artist. I’ve never heard him before because I’ve been stuck on Funk, Soul and R and B. When you get time, check out a couple of singers for me. Terry Dexter who does Soul and House. Check out songs like Crazy, Anything, and Beautiful One from her. The next group to check out would be a group called Starpoint from Maryland. I Got The Love, Midnight Love, and All Night Long are a few of my favorites from them. The lead vocalist Renee Diggs had a beautiful voice, and they never got their credit they were do because this was an underground band. It just shows you that not everyone gets famous from singing, and not everybody has to be famous to be good. Much much love.

Andy I am so happy for this video. I binge watch all your videos the other day. I told you. I am as impressed as you, he was singing like and opera singer. His volume was very high but sounded so nice. I wouldn’t be able to used the same lingo as you. But I do enjoyed this video. What most of your followers enjoyed most are your reaction and the awe you show no matter how many songs you have a heard. Thank you. My husband introduced me to one of your videos , and that was it. You should analize "Amor de los dos". Precisely a duet between both Vicente Fernandez and Alejandro Fernandez. They make nice harmonies for the 1st and 2nd voice along to high and long notes. Look out for the video where Alejandro is dressed up with a black mariachi suit and Vicente with an orange one.

I love all the contrasts this song have at the beggining it's just amazing,sounds like opera sometimes and he can sostain his chest voice to full potence by long time with double vibratos,the way he articulates the consonants with his mouth,requires too much technique to do that then the song changes drastically and take a dynamic most lyrical singing with a soft voice with the piano showing his habilities as lyric singer, Alejandro could sing with tenor contrasts but as barítone he can sing romántic songs and every type of musical songs as he wants,his chest voice it's amazing,powerfull voice and the orquestra just perfect,thanks for this análisis i enjoy this very much Master!.

Thank you for covering Alejandro Fernandez. Your expressions show you feel what we latinx fell. If possible he has gotten better. When he continued to tour when his father was I'll (don Chente said public and work 1st) he was amazing but so emotional. Also the birth of his 1st grandchild I know gave him great joy and it shows.
