Hi Andy, Isabel Pantoja is a great interpreter because she has the beautiful spanish prenunciation of the language its called "Andalucian accent" from Spain it is totally manifested in her vibrato. She is amaizing so gifted and romantic. I' m so happy that you appreciate and enjoy this beautiful music.

Here she sings with a standard accent . In some coplas she uses a more andalussian accent when the copla has a more andalussian theme .

@@TheMaru666 It's a mix because she uses seseo, but doesn't aspirate the s. She also says "dijistes" with an "s" at the end. So it's not so much of a standard accent as it is pronouncing everything for the song and going back and forth with the intonation.

I grow up listening to her, Juan Gabriel, Rocio Durcal and many other wonderful and Amazing talented singers ... the ones you can’t find today, and I’m forever thankful to my parents for introducing these music to me since I was a little girl which I eventually introduced to my husband when we met 12 yrs ago and he love this lady music too! .... I would love for you to hear her song which was dedicated to her husband when. He was killed by a bull, she became a widow at a very young age, and that song is just WOW! The name is “Marinero de Luces” and the. She wrote another song for him name “Era mi vida èl” ... also another 2 powerful song are “Se me enamora el alma” and “Hoy quiero confesar” .... I would love for you to check them out.... the majority of her songs are just like that live! That’s how amazing her voice is! And no wonder Juan Gabriel and Her would make such a great Duo! Just like Juan Gabriel and Rocio Durcal too!

Hola Andy, sabes una cosa, Juan Gabriel no solo componía las canciones, el buscaba el tipo de persona y le componía las canciones especialmente para el tipo de intérprete, en este caso, esa canción está escrita especialmente para Isabel Pantoja, hay otra canción compuesta para Christian Castro que el mismo Juan Gabriel dice que sólo él la puede cantar, la canción "mañana" saludos desde México.

She's pure flamenco 💃🏽 It's the voice of the flamenco. Spain loves her. She married with a famose bullfighter that died for a bull when the couple only were married for a year with a small baby. It was a big tragedy in Spain. She was very strong after that and she sang to her died husband , a beautiful song named: " Marinero de luces", in English: "Sailor of lights". Lights for the shine of bullfighter's suits. Wonderfull. Our Queen, Sofía, cried so much when she saw her singing it.
