Maria she is Sherya goshal, you should listen her songs. You’ll fall in love with her voice and song. This songs is tribute to legend Lata mange’s mar who is defined by most Indians the goddess of singing. Shreya is the legacy career singer of Lata. Shreya herself is already a legend. Hi, I usually don't comment... I like watching singer's reaction videos.. and I have seen countless of'em. But the way you carried it out, was amazing! First of all, you reaction is so genuine, unlike so many out there who are completely about "how should I react to get more views and make it more conducting". Second of all, you do fewer commentaries and even if the video needs to be paused, you wait for the right moment and just not pause it abruptly to make your point. Very well done.. 🤗👍👌

Today, after watching this video, I have become your life long fan. Period. Your commentary in this video is an epic example of how much deep understanding of music you have and anyone might have been with you is so blessed. You truly depict the qualities of a great music teacher and lover of fine art. As amazing the performance of Shreya and both the instrumentalists was, I enjoyed those subtle expressions of yours at every stage of this rendition. I can just mute the video and watch the look on your face - it itself is a soothing experience. Thank you so very much for your kind words. I’ve loved music my entire life growing up in a musical family and starting myself in 5th grade beginner band. In high school, I discovered my love of singing and studied it in college. Today, music continues to be such a huge part of my life especially watching and listening to amazing musicians like Shreya Ghosal from India. This particular performance is so impressive. Her voice mesmerizes me!!

Somehow the English translation, which the reviewer has done literally, just does not do justice to Raja Mehdi Ali Khan saheb’s Urdu poem. Love this dude though. His expressions are so innocent, genuine & obvious. It’s so impressive. You can see from his expressions that music does indeed transcend language. They seem to touch his heart with right meaning. This is a new experience with this timeless brilliant masterpiece from Madanji. Love it!!!

Only and only a genius music scholar like you can understand what Shreya did - from 9:20 to 9:50. It gave me goose bumps. I loved your raw emotions live at 9:20 and it gave me goose bumps. I have become your fan on the fact that you are so impeccable in figuring out the intricate micro melismas, the Rufus and the runs portrayed by Shreya and both musicians.. what a mesmerizing masterpiece this is.. and your awesome reactions depicted by your facial expressions tell it all - you are genius. Shreya is great and all about technicalities here. Her voice is inherently sweet, but Lataji’s sweet gentleness is missing. Sounds fab still. This version is the Ben Platt to Billy Joel’s Vienna. Hats off to the Tabla player who kept everyone on tempo and sounds great. Love the violinist, shows Indian training. His alaaps & riffs are bang on the raga Adana.
