Such a legendary singer has become a victim of music mafia in Bollywood. He is not being given playback gig as often as he did before. Now, Indian music companies have their own house singers and Sonu rightfully refuses to join any cartel camp. Sonu has the ability to make a masterpiece out of even an average lyrics. Hi, just to tell you, at the outset Sonu Nigam dedicated the song to its lyricist Ajay Jhingran, a friend of his, who left the world at age 42 (18th Sept 2013). Sir when you talk of it being difficult to sing while sitting, check out our ancient classical singing where they sit cross-legged on the floor and sing. It is divine and you will feel as if your soul is connected to the universe....I would suggest Kaushiki Chakrabarti's classical singing in Darbarfestival. It would help you understand why Indian music sounds unique since most great Bollywood singers are trained in Classical music since very young age(from age of 4 years even) .
