Can you IMAGINE? Being able to just open your mouth and THAT VOICE comes out?? And Whitney makes it look effortless. She was just born with it - isn't everyone?
Born with it? Check out MK-Ultra, and how celebrities are "made" into revenue models with enhanced abilities, that come at a price.... As soon as drugs and booz had damaged her voice, and stage presence, she was silenced forever. Whored out.
For those of you too young to know this, Whitney Houston was like American royalty. She was beyond just a simple entertainer. She was beautiful, elegant, and 100% LADY. She had all the style. All the class. The kind of woman that everyone would rise in respect to when she walked into a room. When she died, it hit us on the level of when Princess Diana died. We love and miss you Whitney. Thank you for all the beauty you brought to the world.
Watch kim sohyang cover it...there can be and there is a singer who is as talented and frankly in my opinion better than but Whitney was amazing as well
I just love the liberties she takes with the phrasing on this performance. She was totally in charge of this piece and the band was following her cues.
So true ❤❤❤ I love that she takes every stage performance unique through her adlibs and phrasing without compromising the quality. She always... always .. owns the moment. I miss her so much😢
My heart breaks every time. She had so much going for her. And it is such a loss to not have her anymore. The tragedy doubled by the too-soon-after loss of her beloved daughter. The words take on a whole new meaning, when one is aware of the pain she'd endured. Even then. Her master in delivering the truth, in song and music, comes through. Great reaction, Bethany.
Because she spoke about the evil of the industry same as other singers and actors and then suddenly "died", but you have to study this for yourself out. Hellywood is very occult and evil, they are manipulating the masses through false idols. She said once in an interview that they wanted her to perform "soft pron" on stage but she refused, thats what we see today in music videos and on stage. You can also look up an interview with Michael Jackson where he told how they try to manipulate us ("They dont care about us" had a message). watch?v=92Px_B1Y1_k (interview with Michael Jackson) But again you have to figure this out on your own if you want, cant say too much here because of YT.
@@crusher1980 You are entitled to your views, of course, and I'm sure there are a lot of pressures in the entertainment industry (as there may be in finances, business, sports, corporations, etc) that may have the potential to pressure a successful individual to do more than this person wants to do at the moment or more than is good for them. Large money making industries and corporations (organized religion included, BTW) are poised to exploit for profit and power, and sadly often do. All that said, when it comes to wondering about the realities and tragic circumstances of WH's death (and MJ, for that matter), I find that the realities of addiction and relapses, which WH struggled with for years, sadly explain her death with no need for any conspiracies. Take good care.
This is what you call mastering your toolbox, and Whitney had an over abundance of tools to choose from! It’s amazing when she brings them out to play, you know you’re in for something excellent and unforgettable!! Her live recordings most always eclipsed her studio versions, and this, folks, is rare! I miss her so much! Her and George Michael!
Whitney is the greatest voice ever!! A real performer, an amazing singer , a true artist, and simply beautiful !! Yess !! She did sing with command and control when Whitney would sing!!🌹 So missed!!❤❤❤ Like ya reactions!
Loved your reaction to Whitney. She once said her favorite gospel singer was David Phelps. David is now 51 years old and he is still one the greatest tenor voices in the world. He recently covered this song. It was recorded in a barn next to his house. It is just David, a cello and a piano. Oh, he sings it in her key. Best cover of this song ever. BTW, David is Classically trained.
First you lied...Whitneys favourite singers were black gospel people, sorry.... Her cousin was Leontyne price a real opera singer not just a small voiced tenor with zero opera accomplishments... No need to lie.. What made Whitney great was not the keys she sang in, but the quality and the musicianship on the spot! creating your own song on the spot! no over rehearsed nonsense...You never knew what you are getting . Singing is not about the keys, it is about the intelligence within the interpretation.
IMMENSA , IMMENSA , ULTRATERRENA . UN DONO PER TUTTI NOI . Non si ripeterà, non ci può essere mai piu una tramite così meravigliosa come Whitney lei è stata l'apice perché racchiudeva tutto . Adorabile, commovente, emozionante, luminosa, preziosa, speciale, Whitney . Un dono incommensurabile. 😥💓❤️😘🙏🙋
When she puts her hand to her right ear, midway through, it is a signal to her mic-man that she's not getting the orchestral music quite right. You'd never know it. She is just incredible. Makes it all seem effortless... but it is not.
the best reaction video ever seen on Whitney. Then add it made by a competent person like you and everything becomes beautiful. PS: you are beautiful and have a spectacular smile that is contagious. kisses from Italy
I've watched the original video over and over again for years, and I love your take on it also. It's such a beautiful and emotionally-naked song, and her performance was so very powerful, too
Whitney Houston's rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" in the 1991 Super Bowl was THE BEST of all time. Period. Would be great to get your reaction on it.
Whitney is one of my, if not the most favorite of performers I love Dionne Warwick too. Thanks for your analysis. You know your stuff and its fun to watch you watch the greats.
Thank you so much for the Whitney Houston video. I love her and miss her so much. Could you please analyze one of Nancy Wilson songs. I love her to. The way she pronounced her words was just fabulous and showed how much control she had.....thank you 😊
I first veiwed u reacting to disturbed sound of silence and i thought u were so adorable since then ive watched u eeact to numerous videos and my crush just gets bigger im a 57year old man in La and u bring a smile to my face keep doing what u do your just adorable
Thanks for sharing your reaction to this incredible song & beautiful performance by the one & only Whitney Houston. But - since I'm also a huge Angelina Jordan fan, I would also love to see you react to her cover of this song at I believe age 12. Always look forward to your reactions. Thank you.
My best friend was doing some vocal tracking sessions with Jeff Scott Soto back in the early 90's and Jeff himself said "there's Whitney; and then there's the rest of us."
I really enjoy your videos. So very much, and for that i am thankful. I would love for you to react to Whitney’s love medley from her concert in Argentina, 1994. 😬
Piango sempre quando la ascolto ! 😥 Ogni volta il mio cuore 💓 prende il sopravvento ; ogni volta viene scosso , toccato alla prima frequenza di Whitney . È la sua Anima Eterna ! È sempre dentro di me in ogni istante . È stato un dono ultraterreno che lei ha voluto condividere fino alla fine della sua esistenza . 😢💓💓💓❤️❤️❤️😘🙏🙋
Maybe her favorite gospel singer was David Phelps! How would you know? I happen to know David. For many years, he was touring with the gators. He went out on his own some years back, but still came back-and-forth to sing with the men. David has excellent credentials, I could see how Whitney would like him
Yeah, propably the greatest female singer of all (recorded) history. There are some, like Randy Crawford or Amy Winehouse who had the same charisma and natural, direct and sublime vibe that felt like it came from some primal, deeply real (maybe what religious people would call holy) place but Whitney just sounds like some universal energy was linked to perceivable reality through her voice and presence. And still it feels like she's just a woman... singing... Absolutly untouched
Have you listened to the song Drops of Jupiter with vocalist Pat Monahan? He sang Aerosmith's song Dream On in the yearly 2000's for an MTV special. His voice is fascinating to me. It's my opinion that he can sing almost anything. I'd like to know your thoughts.
I would like to watch you react to Chris Cornell "Nothing Compares to U" written by Prince. Chris Cornell and SoundGarden deserve to be in your life, if you dare.
I'm posting this comment before I watch your reaction, shocking I know. Hahaha However Whitney is easily the best female 'pop' singer ever, we aren't talking Opera here, but no-one comes close to her imo, anyway I will now watch your reaction
At 5:43 : that’s Whitney saying Yes : I am gonna show you …… why … ! Why…! I am the best in the world…… her look is saying I am gonna Give you…… the Best right Now……!!!
Hi Bethany. Thanks for your reaction. I enjoyed it very much. Nice to know you like to search for new artists. I recommend you to react to young artist from Kazakhstan. His name is Dimash Kudaibergen. He will blow your socks off. Try for example the song Sinful passion. I promise you will not regret. Greetings from Slovakia 🇸🇰
