Side by side comparison of the original Halo Theme and VoicePlay's a cappella reimagining of the legendary theme song of the video game Halo.
VoicePlay doesn't just do a "karaoke version" of a song when they turn a song into a cappella, they reimagine it and give it their own spin, while still respecting the original. I took a good bit of the original song and compared it to what VoicePlay did with it to let you hear the differences and similarities.

I loved it. I had never heard the original Halo theme myself. I was never much of a gamer, but I can certainly appreciate the artistry that goes into the theme music.

I heard VoicePlay's cover long before I heard the original version, so when I finally listened to the original I instantly was like: "This doesn't sound right, VoicePlay is better! and I feel that way ❤

1) I'm damn certain good loading music contributes a good part of a game's success 2) all of VP's arrangers are danglefragging geniusses (genii? Geniuses?) 3) I wish I still had all my hearing to properly appreciate this comparison - you must have spent AGES editing this 4) voiceplay wins everything all the time

HOW do they honour the original and still make it their own???? Oogie Boogie Man, Nothing Else Matters, Hellfire, this... I hope these guys get proper commercial commissions for arrangements paying them oodles. They are so skilled.
