Any of you Kool Aid drinkers want to ask the logical and rational question of WHY the hell was he in Vietnam in the first place? What's an American doing in Southeast Asia, 7500 miles from the USA across the entire Pacific Ocean? Vietnam was in another hemisphere, another continent and the size of the State of North Dakota. It was an Asian civil war for independence after an era of colonialization by the French and Japanese. And for some extremely insane reason people connect his "service" to the welfare, safety, security and freedom of America. If I'm wrong, set me straight. I'm a proud Vietnam/Draft resistor. Make it good.
