Thanks so much Larry for sharing my dad’s story! So much I haven’t heard! I’m so proud of him and what a beautiful piece of work to have to always remember! I’m so thankful he rescued my father in law so I could be married to his son today! God is good!
Whenever I sit back and close my eyes listening to the introduction music of your RU-vid and KVOH interviews, I think of the hundreds of thousands who have given their lives so that we might be free. Respect tomorrow and those who fought for it. Thanks again, Larry and Terry, for taking the effort to share the past.
What an absolutely fantastic story that was about Terry flying the Camp Evans full bird Colonel with the cooks on the M60's. One of THE best stories I have ever heard.
👍Happy Memorial Day Larry! I appreciate you sharing these this weekend. Warmest regards brother ❤️🇺🇸❤️⛑️ I would love to sit with him for hours and listen to his stories.
Hey brother , welcome home . A quick story . After having been in country for a few months , myself and the RTO were picked up by our C&C after a very bad day . Anyway , they landed by our troop area at BC , and I went to try and find beer and a shower . About maybe two hrs. later , someone runs over and yells doc , we need you out on active , one of the crew chiefs is hurt . Long story short , after I'd grabbed my bag and got to the ship , it was still winding down and the TR and main were still turning . The CC was checking something and had walked into the tail rotor ( TR ) , and there was nothing I could do for him . When I walked by the C&C ship , the crew chief was up by the main rotor . So I asked WTH he was still doing out there . He said this was his normal , and when he finished he would join his DG to clean the 60's . I had no idea before that , that the CC didn't just tie down the ship and go get C's and beer . So he and guys like Terry, got up at O dark thirty , carried troops in and out for 10 -12 hrs and still had come come home and work on their ship for hrs and clean 60's . All this after they had been shot at doing X many inserts and extractions all day . I gained a new respect for the CC & DG er's after that . And I used to complain about how much I hated the ONE insert or extraction a day . And these crews might have done 10-20 in a day . Stay strong brother !! Hope tomorrow isn't too bad for you . doc / Blue / grunt & REMF Evac Hospital lll Corp .
Sitting on my porch with my morning coffee, enjoying life and savoring the freedoms I have. With my flag 🇺🇸 gently rippling, I salute those who gave all. Another outstanding interview. Thank you Larry and Terry. God bless America!
Wow, what an awesome, powerful interview! You can see the hurt is still there, but Our Lord has Helped him along his journey, I would like to say Thank you Terry, for your service, Dedication, and a life long sacrifice, and thank you Larry for another amazing interview! 🇺🇸
Don, I still have the note you wrote me on my desk. I hope you had a good Memorial Day. I released a couple of videos for today. I hope you've seen them. God Bless you and stay in touch.
Thank you Larry and Terry for your service and sacrifices. Welcome Home and a job well done! I served at New River Air Station in the Corps early 70's. A great group of aviators!
Thank you for your kind words. I agree, I believe our Veterans featured on this channel deserve millions of subscribers and tens of millions of views. I say that without monetizing any of my videos. People just don't get it. I will not interrupt a story with a stupid commercial. I'm praying that I will reach more people and that's one reason I started the radio station which hasn't reached as many people as I would like to.
I am guessing he is referring to Braniff International Airways Flight 352 Crash near Dawson, Texas. Thanks again Larry for the very important work you have done and continue to do and Thank you to all of the Men and Women who have served and especially to Those who gave Everything. God Bless These United States of America!
His helicoper skills are impressive. I read "Chickenhawk", about being a VN helicopter pilot and the training and flying in VN wasn't easy. Sometimes they had to chop bamboo with the rotor blades to get in and out of LZs. Thanks for sharing these stories!
What I can never understand is how these Vets are treated when they come back home , spat on and treated like dirt for serving there country and it's people.
Gee whiz. These guys make me feel pretty inadequate for lack of another word when they apologize for getting emotional. What’s with me as I sit on my patio listening to this so damn emotional I can’t see!! Welcome home. You all deserved to live forever at age 21 without the nasty memories of war.
Crazy idea I would like to start an Indianapolis chapter partnership with your Channel. This could be done all over the United States and world help bring more and more great souls to tell their story and document for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
* to be clear when I say Enjoy I'm referring to the peace watching these interviews gives me and the spiritual realizations they give me. Sincerely, the past 2 weeks listening to all of these stories has really helped me mentally and spiritually
