The "new stage" he went to at the end looks like a corrupted version of the Mithrix boss arena. Especially because con lentitud poderosa was playing (the Commencement soundtrack).
14:38 in RoR1 you had to kill all enemies before being able to progress through the teleporter, just like here in the Simulacrum Intended or not, is a neat reference :D
I wish they would give aspects their own “secret” equipment slot that only appears when you pick an aspect up. That way it doesnt interfere with equipment, but you can only pick one up
They've pretty much confirmed that void fiend is unlocked by beating the new final boss. On the DLC steam page it says "Unlock the Void Fiend by overcoming a new threat in Survivors of the Void." This isn't technically confirmation but it's clearly implied.
@@brofist1239 No it wouldn't be OP, you can literally just kill the boss in the Tele event. You're also losing the Equipment for it, meaning you pick it up use it and lose it. You're down an equipment.
@@Buglin_Burger7878 do you know how op shatterspleen is? Guaranteeing a shatterspleen with a disposable equipment is broken because the drop rates are hella low.
I do wish the stages in the Simulacrum had remixed versions of the original song. Regardless though this mode looks to be exactly what I hoped, the only question is can artifacts work with it? I've love Umbras every Boss wave or other crazy effects.
They have mentioned before that every so often, sometimes a random event or artifact would activate for a round (or maybe for a few rounds), so that would be pretty cool to see.
The elite aspects are some of my favorite items, but I wish they were just Yellow Tier items to drop from Elites instead of equipments. Especially on someone like MULT
I have a cool idea, what if there was a separate set of tracks for the simulacrum stages? They could be slightly slowed and have a bit of reverb and distortion. It's possible it could get annoying, but I think it could be done well and would really add a unique feel when paired with the stage changes.
My favorite part of the Premiere is where we had a fight between who was better Rail Gunner or Void fiend Woolie was like one of the 37% who voted railgunner Sorry Woolie Void fiend is just Better but like Bungus >>>>>>>> Fiend > Railgunner
I really hope there is gonna be a bunch of secrets and hidden content that we dont yet know about. If this is really everything there is... idk man. Does not really juice things up too much if you ask me.
Don't get your hopes up. Hopoo wanted to show basically everything so that you know what you're paying for. The only things we don't know about are a few items that haven't been revealed.
If I had to hope, I would like the alternate final boss to be the key to unlocking Railgunner, and I would like the Void Fiend to come from a challenge in the Void Fields. It just seems too fitting to pass up.
No, railgunner will be unlocked for everyone who purchased the DLC, i think that Void Fiend will be the one who unlocks by beating final boss (sorry im russian my english sucks)
What are the odds of a demo video having an elite aspect drop? I believe I have seen exactly one of them, ever, during 200 hours of playing (and it was in multiplayer with friends and a friend picked it up). Maybe that's why hoopoo picked this recording to show off?
I kinda wish Hopoo didn't reveal near everything about the DLC over various streams but I'm so damn excited for next Tuesday mannnnnnn. It can't come soon enough
something to note, it doesn't look like his cleanse gets rid of the kjaro "debuff" so that's interesting. maybe they changed how kjaro debuff is classified or void fiend's cleanse specifically DOESN'T clear kjaro debuff.
because aspects cannot be used, they are passive equipments that gives you the powers of an elite. you cannot turn it off, the only way to "toggle" it is to swap it with another equipment
i have been seeing this from the first gameplay trailer , but does anyone see that the money and lunar coin box is bigger ? it bothers me thinking that we may have a new currency and we know nothing about it or how to spend it
They could fix this by making the damage increase at an exponential rate, forcing players to stay in the field or die. If not, this game mode can be cheesed hard.
@@tylersolie5127 does wake of vultures give you 2 elite modifiers at the same time? do both of them show up on your character model? can you use the effects of both at the same time? it's also not permanent like picking up an item would be
@@2911oscar you can use the effects of both at the same time (with wake of vulutres), but they don't show up on your character model. I don't really think showing up on the character model is that much of an issue tho, it would just take a while to make hybrid elite character models
Certain that the void fiend is gonna be unlocked by doing the simulacrum, whereas the railgunner is gonna be unlocked by beating the alternate final boss
@@zachhagedorn8833 Providence, Mithrix's brother, is killed by the player at the end of Risk of Rain. It is also hinted that Providence is responsible for Mithrix being stuck on the moon, so it's unlikely you would see him there even if he was alive.
