I can’t get over how awful the ship tokens look in the standard box. Mindclash said explicitly that they didn’t want anyone backing the retail version to feel they will have an inferior experience. Do three ship tokens even fit on a sector tile? Won’t they be colliding will with e.g. guild tokens and dice since sector tiles are not double layered? What a fiddly mess. Can’t wait to sell my copy in shrink. Very disappointed
Shoutout to the old fella who sat at our table when tried the game out at Essen Spiel, dude didn’t understand jack shit for a solid 1,5 hours lol. Every time I see this game I get reminded of the poor Mindclash guy who tried his best to explain it to him, maybe he sees this :D Anyway, cannot wait to get this game on our table, everything looks stunning!
Is there going to be an option later on down the road to make the glory tokens match the other tokens in the game, i.e. painted enamel, acrylic, or something similar?
We afraid there won't, as there are several different faces on those tokens, therefore the production cost of an item like this would be unsustainable.
