Hey, developer here! I just wanted to thank you for checking out the game and for the warm words that you've said about it! It was a morale boost that I really needed 🖤 If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask away! I'm more than happy to chat!
@@jacklopen1715 It's my language too, I'm from Moldova 😄 I liked how it sounds and the meaning behind it fits well. Also it's unique and relatively easy to memorize.
Neither have I, always thought the majority of them felt kinda klunky, last I played was Vermintide 2 I think. But this is far from clunky even in vermintide measures met!
It is beautiful, best part is the low spec needed on Steam page, and there's even a demo, so I'm surely going to try it to see if it runs smoothly 🔥 A lot of FPS, your channel helps me to stay tuned 👍
the game is just as good as I remember when you played it the first time on stream. man the "not in the demo" runes and stuff is such a good marketing. but also frustrating. can't wait till the game gets to 1.0
I don't think it's going to be a roguelike in that sense, each area is open, free to explore as you see fit, and you can opt in and out as you please. More like a zone based RPG imo :D
Glad to see a FPS melee game that has good combat. Low key reminds me of that Dark Messiah game in that it resembles Elder Scrolls a bit visually while including more acceptable melee combat
@@Sozidar Oh I mean Dark Messiah. I was reading the wiki and I wasn't seeing anything about that . this VOIN demo looks like it's very open but with certain areas being somewhat linear and full of sub-arenas where you have a combat sandbox and then continue on once defeated the enemies!
Just from a few min of gameplay I can tell the combat is way less floaty than any TES gameplay. Much more fluid with a sense of impact. Very important obviously with any melee battle
The yellow shader effect on the enemies is a bit intrusive, maybe the developer could search for an alternative or tone it down a bit. Also the big yellow exclamation marks ..
Yeah it's for marking when the enemies are about to attack, if you hit dodge when it's glowing yellow you get a second of no damage taken. It's a lot but it works really well when playing. For slow farts like me I need something that really pops :)
If you use my affiliate link in the description of the videos it will take you to gog just as normal. Once you buy games of there you can either download their launcher that works more or less like a light version of Steam or just launch the games via the folder that you downloaded. GOG gives you the actual launch file and you don't need anything else to play games from GOG :)
