I discovered from another reactor that Lola Montez was a real dancer and courtesan (1821 - 1861) who enticed the King of Bavaria and took a whip to a critic in Australia. Dying ultimately of syphilis before she was forty.

Michael Poulsen, the lead singer, rhythm guitar for Volbeat is a huge Social distortion fan, he has a huge social distortion tattoo on his right forearm, their other notable influences would be Elvis, Johnny Cash, King Diamond, Metallica and many others, you can hear the influences all throughout different songs
