VOLCANO LA PALMA: A road is being built here next to destroyed houses and on hot lava.

The remnants of the volcano are evident everywhere, so interesting and making a rugged landscape. At first, the rough waves made me worry for you but you found the perfect tide pool-your own spa with snorkeling! I am so glad you are sensible and not thrill seeking! I wonder what those people who own half engulfed houses feel especially if they can drive near them now.? Hope they are getting compensation for their loss? Love it when you manage to go swimming in the sea. Jolly sight warmer than the Atlantic off the coast of Ireland!!! You certainly wouldn't be swimming there this time of the year?? The Princess Teneguia Hotel and its 11 pools. We have a friend who is a rep in that hotel. We stay in the Hacienda San Jorge in Los Cancajos on the island,it is a beautiful hotel built into a botanical garden,really is stunning.

I'm a little surprised by the prices in the pastry shop. They're lower than I expected. I figured they'd be pretty high because in general island prices are higher, but also it looked like a fairly high end shop. The items were more affordable than a regular starbucks here in California!

Interesting that you cannot go to the cave any more, since someone is living there. 😕. The camera quality is amazing!

Thanks for this beautiful video! The small tunnel where you looked through must have been a lava tube from the 50 year old lava flow. It looks interesting! And I would also not dear to swim in the open ocean with a chance of a shark passing by... Good choice! And a good and inspiring video!
