One thing I’m thinking with Dan’s quote ‘to overcome the greatest champion in history is to rewrite history itself, and that’s not a task a single brave man can accomplish all by himself’ is the ‘single brave man’ point. I think back to an example of an unstoppable force finally being tamed which is sergeant Anderson. It took Dan, Nekota and Kamogawa to overthrow him all working together to beat him. It’s gonna take date, Wally, Sendo and ippo all working together and exposing weaknesses in Martinez to beat him. They need to be brave and break the limits imposed by Ricardo. They need to take him far and test his chin, endurance, heart and stamina. They need to bring out the more aggressive old style of Ricardo and expose him for the weaknesses he has.
