That whole assembly is just ridiculous! How are those tiny brake pads supposed to stop a car? I don't even know if they would stop a go cart! 😐

Couldn't you use later beetle disc brakes ? Didn't t they get them on the super beetle? Or would the not work with your spindles ?

No. These are STAGGERED BEARING spindles which require special hubs to work properly.
