Why the moderator does not say that the Ocean has double glass isolation for better sound proof and better warm and cold isolation ? The Ocean has also an auxiliary heating system which comes handy during winter or early spring seasons. Adding such a heating system to a Beach would cost over 3k !

My preference would be a parts bin special cross between a Beach Tour and Beach Camper. As neither is right for me I would have the two sliding doors from the Tour with 2-seat bed and comfort mattress plus side cupboards from the Beach Camper. An easy switch around as the floor rails will take either 2-seat or 3-seat bed. Add a Reimo or VanEssa type kitchen pod behind the driver's seat and you have full campervan capability with the ability to pull out the seat and kitchen pod to make use of the entire interior space as a normal van. A manual roof and 4-Motion with diff-lock would complete the picture.

How do these differ from the Surf ?

Hi there, the California Surf has a different trim level to the California Ocean and Beach. The Surf features include: "Ready to Discover" 8-inch colour touch screen infotainment system 16"x 6.5J Clayton alloy wheels Inlays - Bright Brushed Grey Front and rear parking sensors Separate daytime running lights Intermittent Windscreen wipers with 4 stage control Cruise control with speed limiter I hope this helps!

These vans should cost no more than £45k new. It's just a van at the end of the day. Lose most of the electrics nice to haves. Campers don't care. The kitchen component equivalents can be bought from Go Outdoors for less than £1k.
