Owned a 2012 cc for 8 years, it was the best motorway cruiser i’ve had… silent like a library.. now owning an arteon and it’s really just a classic limousine with sporty looks, still great.. cc was more serene.. never had any problems with it..
I have one 3.6 R-line 4motion. It was the only option we got in Brazil. Top specs, including seat ventilation and massage. I'm on my second one. I've changed the exhaust a bit just enough to make the VR6 sing a bit more than stock. I still don't see anything in the VW line to replace it.
Brits never got the 2.0l turbo version standard everywhere else, so they had to go with underperforming diesels. In UK today you have to pay someone to haul a diesel automobile out of your driveway. In the US it's almost always been that way, and with DieselGate VW made it even worse. The gasoline CC was a very decent car, with more than its share of luxury features, but it would be a stretch to call it sporty.
My is more than 10 years old. And someone asked me what it was. He was thinking it was a new model. 😂 my has al option. Except the lane assist and other similar options.
I drive one of these and can not recommend one for “practicality” just buy a Passat sedan because more headroom in the back better storage and apealing to thieves..
I thought it was very ugly when I was first offered to buy one. But after getting compliments from everyone I know from everywhere I go, I very quickly started to see just how classy the CC really is and recognize it's beauty.
