It's not very common to have the central locking button on the passenger side (At least on the Golf's that I've seen). Do you know the part Number for that bezel that supports the central lock button?
Hello Is it possible to code so both mirrors lower in reverse? Sometimes I have to park with the kerb on the drivers side and it would be nice to see that kerb easily too. Thanks
Nope. I want that myself, but in the 10+ years this functionality has been available, I’ve never seen a single car manufacturer, nor aftermarket provider, dip both mirrors. It’s always only one side.
Hi I have e golf 2016 when I turn the knob to another position like L or 0 passenger side mirror don't go back to previous position but it go back to deferent one.
BMW are pants would never go back had BMW learned a lesson dont buy one unless you want to spend money on replacing parts countless problems Audi and volswagen beat BMW all the way
@@mrfixpl thank for replying.. I did research ... if you don’t have memory seats , or memory on your side mirror it will not go back to original position... unfortunately my 2020 VW Atlas don’t have it :-( .....
VW makes this feature possible with one of the two ways: 1. Door module 2. Memory seat module. You would have to use diagnostic interface to check those control units and look for that feature in coding.
Mine doesn’t work at all iv got the function in control unit => lower while reverse but it doesn’t work and used obd11 and vcdc and still doesn’t work ! And tried planty positions even revers the car for long distance to mybe unit keep the customastion but not chance even tried to reboot the unit by holding power bottom for few minutes ! I got the other functions like fold and heated they work fine ! Its strange and I do believe the mirror unit is genuine! The car is golf7 gtd 2016!🤷♂️ my previous car which was golf 1,6 was working perfect without even enabling the code ! Its very useful function but not worth to take the car to dealer as they will charge massive price even for diagnostic and ...... 😏
mr-fix tried that and literally everything 😑 I went to local vw and they said charged me £80 for diagnosing and then will let me know the problem so I just gave up then 😄

Mine was working then stopped just to realise that inborder to be working youbneed to have the selector on the left mirror(uk) if its on 0 the it wont work.
