Our ID.3 looked to have degraded more than 10% in 18 months ( 18k miles / year ) but we cycled the battery 3 times ( ran them down as close to 10%, instead of charging up at > 30% all the time ). When we did this the degradation looked to be about 7% instead... We have done 28k miles ( 45k km )... The battery will degrade around 5 % in the first year or two ( avg. driving, but the curve should flatten )....
Hi, is not the best way to maintain the battery charging at 100%, but I suggest you if you charge the car at home to ad a Charging location and schedule the charge or reduce the power charge in order to finish the charge when you need to go in order to have for less time possible the battery at 100%. Another point is the degradation of the battery, is not the more reliable way to see the degradion of the battery with the kilometrs available 100% because the long term is only 30 % of the consumption calculation. I suggest you to calculate the kw\h consumed and moltipilcates with the kilomtes made at the battery near at 0% .
This is old video , there is few new once regarding ID4 , I need range , so 100% is there for this purpose , it never stays more than few hours at 100% , if I go on holidays leave it at 55%. I charge at night so trying to use three ev rate hours , speed 7 kWh an hour ::: slow:::: I need a lot 1000 kWt + a month . Everyone is different . My 100% in the morning can become 20% at evening .
5 % my be intitial drop, wich for LithiomIon is quit normal. How many Km have your ID.4 now and how many km are left at 100% Wich Software Version is installed?
City driving is easy, that optimal enviroment , consumption in city will be , can be very low , it directly depends on your speed / acceleration habits . It is direct corelation with speed , higher speed = higher battery consupmtion . Driving on motorway will drain charge faster and will make range lesser . Yes UK
Yes in the UK... Out on the motorway we get about 3.5 to 3.7 m/kwh and in town we get about 4.7 to 5 m/kwh... E.V.'s are less efficient on the motorways because of the lack of regen primarily. Those number equate to roughly 215 miles to 290 miles, in reality in summer on the motorway we can get up to 240 miles, but in winter it can drop as low as 175 miles
