* Note my Gopro died at the end, there is also 2 black plastic clips in the inside of the fender where the bumper meets that will need to be removed and a couple screws under neath the bumper holding the bumper to the under carriage covering.*

Thanks for this! My grill actually fell off, and now I see that one of the previous owners broke off some clips somehow. Now I can plot how to fix it.

You can reach the clips at the edges of the grill from the front of the car. Just use a small screwdriver and locate the little tab, press it upwards while jiggling the grill out. Obviously you want to be careful not to scratch the paint (no need to tell it but.... yeah you never know lol).

My headlights hold into the housing differently. They twist, and lock directly into it. Also I need that grill lol

Hmmm I'll have to see if any of my other MK3's have different lights. Is yours a Jetta perhaps? Maybe later year? This one is a 95. Also I'll sell that grille to you if you wanna pay for the shipping :P

Logan Royer I have a 96 GTI VR6, and I might buy a badgeless grill. Its only $40 with free shiping, Ill take the badge if you give me a good enough deal tho lol.

96 is where they made some changes such as swapping to OBDII maybe they made other changes too. Yeah you must be in the states for that kind of pricing/shipping lol. Holy crap new OEM badges are going for $75+ on ebay lol.

I mainly keep to MK2's. MK3's are good for parts tho.
