0-100 under 9 seconds with this car and this specific engine with manual gearbox is almost impossible. You need to have the best launch and also have to shift really quick to do that. I got my Passat remapped to 206hp, my best run with dragy gps is 9 seconds. On the speedometer thats probaly high 7 or 8 seconds.
If you got a reliable remap, torque is probably limited in the first two gears to preserve the transmission; which is why your 0-100 km/h with a remapped 2.0 TDI is not much faster than a stock one. A remapped manual diesel performs best in rolling starts (50 - 150 km/h or 100 - 200 km/h), not in 0 - 100 km/h.
@@AccelerationTV It is limited in first gear indeed. I dont think its limited in second gear, but my passat also started to wheelspin way more. I measured 7.8 seconds 50 to 120kmh on GPS. Stock was about 10 to 11 seconds. 100-200 on speedometer is about 22 seconds. I dont know how quick a stock 2.0tdi 150hp 6speed is at 100-200kmh. A 190hp 2.0tdi does it in about 27 seconds. Edit: Did 50-120km/h on GPS in 7.18 seconds.
