Is it legal to tune the engine to increase the torque and power? If yes, it is worth to spend RS. 20k rather than buying a new high power car. Please share your views and experience. Thank you.
So, what is the difference in fuel consumption also? Or maybe in acceleration? I think that 60hp and 75hp 1.0 MPI are the same engines only with different ECU.
Bro, I own vw ameo 1.0 mpi, I want to do stage 1 performance tuning, but is there really increase in performance and what is difference in mileage?? Please reply bro....
@@shambhuthulaseedharan6543 no car is designed for 45 degrees gradability , and for climbing normal inclines you need to shift to lower gears to be in torque band , in last two decades when ppl used to drive Maruti 800 they have gone to hills and they have driven like that only
@@rishiverma4686 man polo 1.0 mpi has an engine of somewhat similar to an alto or 800 , and has a weight of a compact suv or say double the weight of 800. So in fully loaded condition, even a 20° degree climbing is struggling even more when in a bumper to bumper traffic condition. First u experience that in that vehicle, then u will get to know abt that. 1.o mpi is a city car meant for straight and slightly inclined surface
It is definitely possible, but considering the cost involved and this swap will be an illegal mod, it's better to get a 1.0TSI car rather swapping the engine.
@@zillionaire2417 how is the tuning? I also enquired with wolf moto, who quotes the same 20k. I just want the lower end torque to be improved. It can't even cross a speed breaker in 2nd gear.
@@rameshmanjunath5778 see usually all the tuners use similar software to tune your car. In your case better go with stage 1 remap by quantum tuning which is a UK based tuners otherwise we have etuners. They have done some fabulous work around the nation. All this can cost you anywhere between 14-20K.
Seriously man dont make fool of person ..who owns 1 L mpi engine. Its a good car to drive,But Not so aggresive,I wasted my money for stage 1 tune and whai i got basically nothing, its still the more or less same car. Accept Your 1 L MPI engine.' and drive in gentle manner thats It...Dont waste money on remaping this engine. Upgrading tyres will affect pick up so not reccomonded.. Last words...1L MPI is not experimental engine for performance....If you are hell bend for perforamce Go for 1L TSI or 1.5 TDI ...and do lot to it. This engine have power that u cant handle even...
