Who doesn't know the Volkswagen Polo? Besides the Volkswagen Golf it's one of the most popular cars in the world! Nowadays you can find the 2020 Volkswagen Polo AW, this however is the older brother, the Volkswagen Polo 6R. The Polo 6R was sold between 2009 and 2013, than it received a facelift becoming the Volkswagen Polo 6C from 2013 untill 2018. The Volkswagen Polo always was and still is the benchmark in its class, the compact hatchbacks. The Polo always stood out in terms of comfort and build-quality. This 220k km Volkswagen Polo is equipped with the unbreakable and reliable 1.4 mpi engine, an engine that originates from the older polo 9n and 9n3 and was still available in this modelyear. Even with a hefty 220.000 km (135k miles) this Volkswagen Polo still does not use any drop of oil, BEAT THAT TSI and TFSI engines!!! This 2010 VW Polo has a maximum power of 86 HP and a torque of 132 Nm, because it's a naturally aspirated engine (without turbo) the Polo actually has a decent sound to it! Volkswagen is nowadays all into electric cars with their electric Volkswagen ID3 and ID4. What do you prefer, Electric or Gasoline/Diesel cars?

O great 😃 you have reviewed various German cars. All German cars are on top w.r.t comfort and luxury and they use 95-98 octane fuel I think so. I love your reviews.

Top video bro! Ik zit zelf te denken om precies deze Polo te halen als me eerste auto, is dit de beste die er is of is er een andere Polo die wat beter is qua onderhoud verzekering, me budget is rond de €5000,-! ✅💯

Goed om te horen man! De Polo 6R is zeker een goede auto als eerste auto! Het was mijn eerste auto en ik heb hem nog steeds, nu ruim 225k km gereden! Het is het beste om voor een 1.4 86pk te gaan, óf de Polo 6C Blue GT met de nieuwe 1.4 TSI ACT motor met 140pk (snel). Beide motoren hebben een betrouwbare distributieriem ipv ketting bij de oudere TSI's. Zoals je waarschijnlijk wel weet gaven die oudere 1.2 TSI motoren nog wel is problemen daarmee... Verder, koop een auto die GOED onderhouden is, hoge kilometerstanden maken bij deze auto's niet zoveel uit, liever een met hoge km stand en top onderhouden dan lage km stand en afgetrapt/slecht onderhouden. En owja qua uitvoering zou ik minimaal een comfortline nemen maar het liefst een highline met RNS navigatie én een leren stuurtje. Succes met je aankoop! - Nicky van Damn Fast🚀

Does it have disk or drum brakes in the rear wheels? It looks like a disk at 3:10. I have the same model but with drum brakes… I’m puzzled now..😳 Thank you, grat vid

Haha this one has disk brakes (of course)!! We have actually never seen a Polo 6R with drum brakes here in the netherlands😜

Ford fiesta vs VW Polo (both around 2010-2011) which ones has better durability and quality excluding aesthetics? I've heard that the polo's engine is not good for long trips is that true?

Hi! In terms of durability it probably doesn't really differ that much. From our own experience: the 2010 Polo 6R with the 1.4 MPI 86 HP engine is a true reliable car. It has done over 220k kms without a single problem! And even now we don't see any oil consumption between the 30k service intervals! And why would an engine not operate well with long yourneys? If an engine runs well on operating temperature it can almost run indefinitely without any considerable wear & tear... The wear is almost exlusively there with hard driving or cold starts.... Long story short, the Polo 1.4mpi is a great reliable car, the fiesta will probably be just as reliable

Honda Jazz or Polo...? Running cost and reliability .Space wise the Honda wins hands down...i think...but is it the better piece of engineering and drive experience?

Absolutely a VW Polo... The Polo is just so well designed and gives you more of a quality feeling, and dont get me started on the design of the Honda Jazz😁 If room is all you want: take the Jazz, if you want practicality and a nice and comfy drive while having a good looking, modern thing: take the VW Polo allday...

I’ve got a 2012 fiat evo 1.3 mjt engine 90ps and im really bored of the dpf egr filter problems so im considering selling it and getting a non turbo petrol car, seems this is the right choice

De 1.4 16v staat bekend om de vroegtijdige slijtage aan cilinders(gekantelde zuigers) en olieverbruik. Dus het verbaast mij dat jij er geen last van heeft.

It did 230.000 km without any major problems! The only thing thats really shitty are the window mechanisms, it has failed twice (both sides)

Hey man, ik zit te zoeken naar mijn eerste auto. Ik zag een polo 1.6 tdi trendline 2011 voor rond de 5k met 180k kms. Is dit een goede deal of zijn er betere versies voor die prijs zoals de 1.2/1.4?

I would personally say huge NO. I saw them in Europe for 3k or 3.5k for a 2012 Volswagen Polo. So don't buy that one keep looking man.

Als je geen USB-poort of bluetooth hebt kun je nog steeds een bluetooth transmitter kopen hiermee kun je verbinding maken via je gsm en audio van de auto.
