Why did you put on new seam sealer on the underside ? Was it sandblasted off ? Preventative measure ? I had to reseal the body seams....judging from your work I am thnking, I might have to go back in within the next few years and take the seams apart close to where the rear side marker is. I just painted mine, lots and lots of surface area on these things and it took hours and hours.... cant wait to see it done....
Totally disagree. Had mine for 10 years , living in a coastal city ,before my brother in law wrote it off. Very little surface rust . 1995 model, the most useful,lovable vehicle I’ve ever had - I’ve had 2 mercs,3 bmws, a Touareg, ….
