In this video, I remove rust and replace all parts damaged by rust.
As a kid, I used to wait all week to watch the 'A-Team' get locked in a shed with a welder, an angle grinder and some metal and some rusty old chassis. They'd build some contraption. I find myself as an adult waiting all week for 'Arthur' to get in the shed, with a welder, an angle grinder and some metal and some rusty old chassis. And watch as he'll produce some artistic master piece! I feel like a kid again!! :-D Thank you Arthur!!!
"Rear parts of the inner pannel. I'll make them myself, I do not have them" U just gotta' love this man and his work, this is amazing! 😍😍😍 I'm just curious how much does he charge his customers for a work like this 😋😎
Another perfect job! Nice chocolate color too. My father had one of these T3's. 2 liter gasoline rear placed boxer engine. I slept several times in the back, right on the engine cover. One of my best memories of my childhood. It was a special feeling, seeping upon a boxer engine during the ride 💙
Good morning Arthur, wow, you earned your money on that one. Those hand made inner structure panels looked great. Again excellent panel fitment and shut lines. I do like your use of the adhesives and corrosion protection. It makes for a lifetime repair. Much better than the factory original. Thanks and you take care. Have a good week.
He might not be the one buying the cars in the US and shipping them over, but I have seen many cars go through his shop that are US spec cars, from US salvage auctions. On some of them, if you look at the numbers written on the window, if you do a google search on the number, you will see the US auction where the car was sold. For example, if you go back to the July 21 video titled "BMW 3. The front rail repair.", in the initial pictures you will see the auction company's watermark the pictures. Also, on the front window is written the number 24423360, and if you google image search on that number you will see that exact car, at the auction in Long Island NY USA. (it sold for $12,500 USD) on 02.04.2019. en.bidfax.info/bmw/340/1340244-bmw-340-2017-white-30l-vin-wba8b7g55hnu37365.html
Owen - This isn't the only one he's worked on, he's worked on quite a few. I've seen some others that also have the starting pics from a US insurance auction in his videos, have the numbers on the window that you can google, or have telltale US clues such as marker lights in the fenders. One even had a bumper sticker from a Florida surf shop. (Ron Jon Surf Shop)
