i would add that there is kind of like a shortcut for doing current division in a parallel combination of R resistors. It involves using Conductance G = 1/R and then applying the "voltage division formula". I_k= I_total* G_k/ ( G_total ) where G_total = sum (G_i's) Please correct me if im wrong
