Voltage Regulator with two transistors and Zener 

Thanks for describing this discrete circuit. So much emphasis is put on ICs these days, there's no one left who understands their internal structures.

how do we calculate the voltages on R4 and R3 if maybe we want to calculate power on transistor 1 and transistor 2 and the zener diode on that same circuit please help me. thank you in advance
