Put the handle in first. So it sits flat on outside of door.
Remove window guide channel, this is inside the door frame (so you can feel the locking mechanism with your hand inside). To remove undo one screw under the lock securing screws.
De-attach the push down door lock button link.
You can keep the horizontal internal door lock attached.
Watch the video and understand how you need to get the round part of the door release to go in behind the pulling latch lever catch which is part of the handle mechanism.
You can only get this into position if the locking mechanism is loose - use your finger to feel the latch.
Important note!!! That I didn’t mention in the video - you can use your finger on the pendulum at the bottom of the locking mechanism to move the round part closer to the door so it will go behind the lever latch as you position the locking mechanism.

Remember to put the spring back in position for the horizontal bar! Sorry I should have taken a picture of this as part of the video - you should take a photo before disassembly if it’s not too late.
It’s not really that complex the loop end has a wee hook that grabs onto the mechanism you then tension the spring a hook it onto the lever arm. Put the spring in position before tightening the black plastic lever housing!!! And remember to position the lever correctly before trying to reattached the door card!
