These are genuine offroad trucks, developed to work near the traction limit for extended periods of time, unlike highway trucks which are developed for a periodic high traction, and 95% of the day working at highway speeds at reduced rpm. When the axle rating of the ADT isnt exceeded, the more intensive use may reduce the lifespan of this unit versus a standard ADT by maybe 10%, but it will have moved 40% more dirt during that time. win/win :)
Its a good concept, but i wonder if an regular A40F due to it being faster will get more tons moved per hour anyway. And this must also put alot of stress to the entire driveline wich isnt optimized for 60T payload and therefore shortening the machines operating life. The A40F with maxxim 800 sounds like a better card to me.
Longer turning circle and longer reversing plus stability issue for wet areas and plus 60 tonnes meaning it is over loaded. I am thinking not good, But for a farmers perspective it would be good but not a fast muck shift.
