Part 6 of this 1969 Volvo Amazon Build.. I mis driving this car so much..
My 1969 volvo amazon had a bad Cilinder head. While that is at the shop we are going to weld and paint the complete car!
This car has been bought by me on the 20th of april 2022 and has been driven half a year as a daily. That was around 13.000 kilometers.
The engine will be back soon so we need to start fixing the rust problems on the car!

Great job ! I have had the same problem with fitment of this particular repair panel. It seems like it is to short against the A-pillar. I think it’s because it is just an aftermarket repair panel and it doesn’t follow the original Volvo panels. I have learned from my earlier mistakes to keep as much as possible of the original inner fender and if necessary try to get my hands on a full size “kick panel”. You can see on your right side that the inner fender is spotwelded to the “kick panel”. If you keep the overlap, as Volvo did on the factory, it will look more original. Good luck with the other side ! It will probably take half the time compared to the left side 😂.

It looks completely factory now. I'm pretty happy. The rights side fitted right in! both sides are in a bit of primer now and looking good. New video will be up maybe tonight! 🙂 Thanks for the comment!
