Ok. But why is it costing me $1,000.00 for my 08 s40 to have the throttle body replaced? 😠

That's why you should carry out your own work on your car. Or get a mate to help you. It's a very small job. Out with the air filter box undo 4 bolts on the throttle body and connector. And then put the new one in in reverse order. 15 to 20 minutes max 🇬🇧

I didn't know Volvo put a 4 cylinder in the S40 in other parts of the world. Is that a 2.0?

They also have 1.6 and 1.8 s40 with 4 cylinders HP is around 125bph
