Great video! The Haynes's manual instruction didn't work at all (just lift up the front of the seat), but your tip with lifting the side of the seat first, and then lift in the front, did the job so easily! Thanks!
(On the 05+) to get the top latches undone you have to push in the black metal in front of the black plastic bit. To release the metal U shape bar u push the seat and done. you will have to crawl into the back of your trunk, it’s at the very back
Cool, mine were stuck. I had a pry bar like yours, stuck it between the posts from the side and put the edge of the tip in the crack of the plastic and twisted prayed and popped it out with out damage. Thanks
When removing the upper back seat, have both sections up, to release pressure on the center steel pin. It's the same thing on V70 and XC70. The only difference are the bottom cushions - lift them with the straps, and the upper side bolsters you need to grab them at the top and pull towards the front of the car with force - there is a U shape rod secured inside a plastic piece, the U shaped rod will break free from the plastic piece. For the S60 bolsters, don't forget the small side clip, once you unclip the big piece from behind. push the bolster towards the center of the car to release the small side clip, then lift the bolster upwards
that side part next to the upper seat is not very easy to remove the bottom has a plastic tab you have to push in, it does not just push up and out it comes.S80
