I own a Volvo S90 and I think you did the fairest assesment of the S90 ever done. It has its good and negative points and even the few Volvo quirks that you pointed out in your review. Great job.
Test drove the S60 T8 recently and I think generally Volvo cars fit in your explanation. They are sturdy, but not so engaging to drive. Yes, the S60 has immense power and acceleration, but that's about it.
For me I think touch sensitivity for headunit are better than non touch screen like what mercedes offers in the w213 mercedes benz e class or w205 mercedes benz C class.. As young or old folks will enjoy having touch sensitivity on car headunit

Looks like more cons than pros. Almost everything was overshadowed by the T8 bar for those who doesn't wants a hybrid. DCC is a pain in the arse to maintain down the road. A properly setup passive suspension is miles better than an active one. Besides, T5 buyers most likely not gonna have sporty handling as their priority. If they were, they'll be looking those made in Munich.
The T8 is better equivalent to A6 and XF for normal driver in term of safety features and availability of equipment such as hybrid electric vehicles...

I had a rental V60 CC in 2019 for a week. The interior seems exactly the same at the first time. I actually liked the polished metal interior bits and pieces, however had the same feeling about the infotainment, it's all over the place and not really follows even it's own logic in all the screen layouts (and for me I barely found any logic but maybe that's me). The interior design otherwise left the feeling that it is all over the place. I liked some parts of it and the others were, made me ask why. But the most, well disturbing part was that most of the handles and switches had very, VERY different stiffness, or how to say resistance in operation. The starting knob was OKish, but the gear pre-selector lever was actually hard to operate. You can get used to it, but in a VW (which, volvo owners consider as an "everyday salesmen's car") basically has all the standards volvo should just follow and focus on the above.

Funny thing is that you and bobby said the rear room is more spacious than the germans but paultan says otherwise LOL But anyway, this car ( or any volvo for that matter lol ) has way more safety equipment than any bmw except the 7 series. Or any merc except the E350 and S class
i have sat in e class, G30 and s90. e class rear legroom is shit, 5 series is still okay,n s90 leg room is way spacious. tat matthew fella frm paultan memang very biased. autobuzz n bobby's team reviews are more reliable and better
I just wonder how Passat B8 can have full size spare tyre, 70L fuel tank and close to 600L boot space but still more or less the same size as this S90.
The T8 is better than the equivalent E-Class and 5 series for normal drivers, especially in terms of available equipments. The T5, I don't think so. Whoever buy a T5 most likely will regret their decision.
Is this a Volvo review or bmw advertisement? I feel autobuzz love bmw a little bit too much and if u look at the sales u will see the majority of Malaysia don’t share tat love.

Cheap PVC leather , worst sound insulation effect, noisy engine ( even can hear the engine sound inside the cabin) , is this car worth for 300k ++? Even the BMW F30 is much better than this shit.
Was wondering who wrote the script in the opening part. Then halfway thru... the car is so bland that I realized the need for the saucy language bordering the RU-vid guidelines. Volvo cars Malaysia is seriously delirious, Just because they have a 400-500% sales increase vs. their old sales numbers, They think they are marketing geniuses. Last time you sold 20 cars a month, now you sell 100 and they think they are a champion. BMW & Mercedes are selling 800-900 a month lah 🤭. No wonder the old Volvo went under. Bottom line, This car ... just give it a miss. You can get a 520i for 330k, and more exciting driving experience. Or u can just buy the new Passat and give your wife a 200k angpow 🧧, She would love you, cook for you and do anything you want her to. vs. having this boring, dull, bland car. Oh ya, for someone who pride themselves on creating the seat belt, their current seat belt is very thin and flimsy. Can Autobuzz investigate this? And tell us what's the benefit of it. Tq.
