This is Volvo ! This is perfection ! And nobody can take that away . I don't care what anybody says . There are people that like Volvo , and there are people that like other truck manufacturer . People say that this is an ugly truck . I love every inch of this truck . It's perfect in every way . I don't have a truck driving license , but I will drive this masterpiece until I die . Volvo you had , and you will always have my respect for what you do !
I guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I love any tips you can give me
Although tailgating is worse as if no tailgating there wouldnt be a problem with breakcheck which in fact is an important process in the winter (which always should be done when there is no one behind)
Volvo, one of the best trucks in the world at this point in time, if not the best truck in the world, makes me proud to be a Swed, the 2 best trucks in the world are both Swedish. it hurts a bit to say this, but the new Volvo is a gorgeous truck, and thats from a mainly Scania guy... ;)
Lonewolf SWE Volvo is definitely not the best truck in the world, it looses the value really fast here in the states and Volvo engines are not so reliable ! Best truck in the world is Peterbilt !!! 379 model now 389 model 100%
These trucks are INCREDIBLE in their driver comfort and amenity. I have to wonder why since driverless trucks are JUST OVER THE HORIZON. As I read it drivers will be pretty much obsolete within 10-15 years. If you get the chance to drive and live in one of these trucks --- grab it with Both HANDS and be one of the last of a breed. Again as I understand it tomorrow's truck will look much like today's Yard Tractor (Oshkosh etc) with a small basic cabin provided for when the truck actually has to be driven by a human.
Just start to count them on an aircraft and then on the truck - considering that every rocker switch is a computer in that truck except for a few it's actually possible. Each button pad in the steering wheel is also a computer. Small computers, but still computers.
a brand new 62 reg Volvo FH, they ALL have it fitted as standard, and it was at the red lights he was just being a bellend and following me very closely. Im just a ball of fun
But today's automated gearboxes are far better than any manual gearbox you can get. And today's automated gearbox can handle the weight without a problem. For example Volvos automated gear box, are quit smart: - It know how heavy the load is, so it change gears accordingly. - It know how big the incline are on that hill, so it change gear accordingly. - It know how far down you have the pedal, and change accordingly. (if you don't have the pedal all the way down, it will change gear early, if you have the pedal all the way down, it will change late) - It also detect how hard you are breaking and change gear accordingly. Thus the Automated gearbox are always in the correct gear, at any time... the advantage is that you do not get these fatigue development in muscles, and wear of the elbow and shoulder, from all the gear changes, one does through a career. Injury who can give you trouble sleeping, give you trouble being active with your family ... (I speak from experience, working in industry where I produce stairs and the big model can weigh up to 200 kg ... and I lift on them all day long.)
my wish to drive one Volvo you are the best I even have the fh16 Globetrotter in ets2 game so cool so spacious . I would like to drive one or at least see one pls let me get the opportunity to see and drive this truck. I am 13 years old
Yes, it's right new volvo have so many computers, and if you stop for the night and juse cab heater laptop and light , you must forget about star engine in the morning :)
Boeing for instance is known for not using fly-by-wire sistems, which eliminates the need of many computers. Airbus on the other hand uses a lot of computacional units to ensure complete control over the entire airplane, since everything on it is electronic. Trucks and modern cars are just like an Airbus plane, they cannot afford the trouble of hundreds of meters of steel cables, vaccum pumps etcetera. They just need a couple of electrical engines, wires and a electronic central.
neither is tailgating a learner car coming to red lights :P, as I was doing the speed limet, being 40, I was doing 40 till as late as possible, and I had this thing a few feet from my arse, then braked hard and I don't know how he stopped when I only just did. brake checkkk
In that case the trucker was too close which is idiotic. It's the driver of the trucks responsability to always have a safe distance where he can make a full stop incase a car infront needs to break for example a pedestrian or simular. So that trucker would be the idiot not the car braking.
i fine it funny how some say it has to be KW, PB or some other american truck with none sincro gear box to be a trucky well times change the model A ford is finished 100 hours per week in a truck dont you want to be in a nice truck
They say that because they don't know perfection is. American trucks are horrible and boring. Europe makes the best and mst beautiful trucks like Volvo, Scania and MAN.
The present VOLVO reliability is low compared to other trucks. Many breakdowns and little guarantee of manufactures. All Electronic and everything is very easily failure. In FM the brake wear sensors are 11 months a year damaged, Automatic gearboxes can not stand 7000 hours etc etc etc.The old VOLVO these were good!!
the best new people ! the beginning is absolutely superb:))) exactly what all the company's desire from the trucks :)) many computers ! pieces of shit ...this is what you create , you all European truck manufacturers had been doing in the past years exactly what Renault does ! make them to break easily so you can make tons of money from service and parts
Tim Hosking Kenworth: No power under the hood; no retarder brakes, only weak Joke engine brakes with a terrible noise that wakes up sick people in hospitals; no emergency brake assistant, one of the greatest invention in the trucking industry; but drum brakes; only useful on flat and straight roads, the first 180 degree hairpin of the Alpine roads with 15+ % gradient will finish the trip. It dosen't matter if uphill or downhill. Either not enough torque or too weak brakes or too long. KW: only an eye catcher., a lot of hot air The best two factory trucks of the world Volvo FH16-750 and the real King of the Roads, the Scania S 730 V8. Both are made in Sweden. If you need a rolling hotel, then a Scania Longline has a damned great cabin. Maybe a KW or a Pete is safer in a head to head crash than a Euro truck. But how often have you seen a head to head crash on an interstate? Never, hopefully. I cannot remember of a head to head truck crash on a European motorway
