Step-by-step how I removed and reinstalled EGR valve on a Volvo V50 2008.
The car had gotten red engine warnings in the dashboard. It also lost power now and then while driving with low to medium RPM. I decided to check if the EGR valve needed cleaning. During the removal, I found that one of the two mounting screws was loose. This has likely caused gas too leak, as seen in the video. I decided to reinstall it without cleaning.
While making this video, the replacement of bolts, nuts or other relevant parts were not mentioned. Please contact Volvo on which other parts that should be replaced when doing this job.
