nice tutorial...I would also recommend you blow some high pressure air inside it....after all the cleaning i did, when i used air pressure inside it, chucks of coal came out of it

Hi I got same car it's just stopped in the way while driving, so I have to take egr electrical multiple plug out to sart the if I put back its stop my car straightway what ru think I need new egr or its work if I clean it
Did u have any codes on the dash and u cleaned it ? I have noticed that my car have lost significant power after 3000rpm without any codes even in the Vida everything seems to operate absolutely right. Is there any difference after having it cleaned ? I have 120000miles and i have never got it cleaned
moh jame what’s the cars mileage ?? As I have mentioned I have 122000 miles. The dpf pressure was a bit high I made a trip and I drove with rpms so that the filter regen I also used a diesel additive and it improved a lot.
Did mine tonight in the dark! Didn’t make much difference as you can’t really see it anyway but I’ll see how it goes tomorrow. Mines Turing on the anti skid warning light too which according to the local Volvo dealership is the egr. Apparently it turns this on because it hasn’t got full control of the engine power if the egr is faulty. If it’s not the egr I’ll push it in the lake near me and get a different car 🤣
@@Chris-ot9jf but your injectors are on the way out... Cavitation. Happened on my identical Volvo...... Just bought the car secondhand.... Hazard lights came on when driving.... Injectors were not very pretty..... Diesel absorbs Air like a dry sponge Absorbs water. I now remove the Entrained Air from the fuel in the tank.... Massive fuel economy restoration and new injectors are spotless after 25000 miles
@@allaboutcars77 i found it and it is only one yes. i had a lot of dirt in the radiator like part where antifreeze goes through. i cleaned it and now its fine
I know it's like 2 years ago you wrote that but it might help someone else. I had the same problem. Previous owner used a cheap diesel filter. The electric cable didn't connect properly. So I replaced it with a original filter and I got rid of that problem

@@allaboutcars77 Yes. I also removed the battery before removing egr. There are no error codes either. Maybe I put the top part of it somehow wrong and now egr is open or closed all the time
@@allaboutcars77 OK I tried to remove it today, i removed the 2 screws and trying to losen up the gasket (what tool did you use? or does it just come off? trying not to brake anything). Also, I can't manage to remove the wire on top, so i tried to just remove the top of the valve, but a spring came out... not sure how to place it back: imgur.com/a/5LfMQqn
@@allaboutcars77 hey thanks for the super quick response. My mechanism on the top part was different from another I saw in a video. Some how I got it back to auto winding, stuck it back on, and my car runs. Though for some reason still on power. I had changed the turbo recently but it doesn't seem to activate. I changed the MAF and the air filter, still no change. I'm starting to lose my mind over this 😬
I cleaned my EGR using a ultrasonic washer. I removed the electric engine before putting in the bath. I reused the original clamp. When I put it back I used a pincers, worked like a charm. Final result after cleaning, the car is like brand new. Before when driving the rpm would go up and down. But that's gone now
