In this video, we will test our Volvo XC40 T5 Inscription in heavy snow. We will see how well the AWD system performs in heavy snow conditions and on the hill. XC40 has all-season tires and the outside temperature is -5 degrees Celsius.

This was awesome i guess it makes sense now that the rav4 didn't clear the hill last time at high rpm Seeing the videos about this comparison, the Volvo awd system seems a bit more advance and adaptive and the Rav4 gives great power and weight distribution but it's more of a mass production car for all world conditions so passing this test just adds to it's overall great package.. Toyota did great job providing such suv that's that most people around the world can buy and drive in all conditions.

Your never should use allseason tires on snow. Winter tires is only right choise

lol i drove at 10,000 ft in snow for years with all season with ZERO issues with an Audi. Snow tires help, but are not needed.

My friend, I drive the XC40 R Drive Pro here in the UK. During the recent snow and ice the vehicle performed overall really well. What i found with some settings changed, the vehicle responded brilliantly with the folowing set up. Car in normal comfort mode or even Polestar. Change the ESC to OFF / Green and keep the vehicle under 30mph / when on slippery surfaces etc. This proved really successful with great traction all round. Can you guys back this up and see if it works for you in those conditions? Great video, reallly interesting.
