You did an amazing job- looks as good as factory! My T6 had the hitch installed (for a bike rack) by previous owner. I needed the lights and researched just like you did and when I found out that it still had to be programmed by Volvo, I opted to have them install the module too. On an aside- I recently got Global TIS for my Saab and fired up the Chinese Tech 2 that I had for 2 years without really using. after about 5 minutes the VCI module burned up- sometimes you get lucky with the clones sometimes you don't! For sure I'm not getting into Volvo programming, but I did find out that I can update my horrible 2011 instrument panel with the cool one you have! I'm trying to resist the tempation!

Heck yeah another Saab and Volvo friend! I watched a detailed video not long ago on someone installing the 2015.5+ cluster in an older model P3 Volvo. I must say I didn't think that would even be possible and if mine didn't have it, I'd more than likely retrofit it in lol.

Is this actually the OEM "Member Kit" P/N 31359465 ? I have a 2015.5 XC60 T6 RD 3.0 and P/N 31359465 on volvo's website says it will fit without any modification.

What is the dealer program thing? Is this for trailer brakes? Do you need to take it in to dealer for computer program thing if it’s just trailer lights and no brakes?

Programing enables the trailer light functions as well as turns off blind spot monitoring and the rear parking sensors when a trailer connector is plugged in.

What if I don’t have any sensors or spot monitoring. I got mine installed and mechanic said they were working. I haven’t had a chance to connect my boat yet though. I haven’t taken it in for any programming

If you don't have those options your mechanic may have just hardwired the trailer plug in. Basically tapped into the tail light wiring which is a real common way to wire a trailer plug before everything become so heavily computer and module based. In your case you may be fine without programming.

Exactly what he did. I have a 2015 T5 no sensors or backup camera or lane sensors
