Before removing the final trim piece, make sure you also remove the two retaining screws from the bottom of the console underneath the HVAC plenum. Video does not clearly show the removal of these two 'hidden' screws. Final trim piece is held in with 5 screws from the top side and the 2 hidden screws from the bottom side.
Great video. I had some coffee that spilled into the start/stop switch and am in the process of replacing. Do you know if the start/stop module is plug and play or do you need to program to the vin (I am replacing with the same part number as removed)?

Will not take it as an endorsement from you but merely a piece of info. Local agent charges way too much for their parts & labour....kumsiah!
I do not have any issue since then. Mine was out of warranty therefore Volvo will not bother. It is best not to do anything of your car is still under warranty.
Hi, my xc90 has light around cup holder next to shifter, can you please help me how to find the light please? I want to change the led to get different colors
@thenguyen5659 you can just follow the steps I did on the video and you should be able to do most of the things required just with that. I didn't remove the whole centre console out of the car as it is not necessary and very heavy to do it alone.
@yokechye Ok. O, I've never heard of it before. I'm not sure if I want to play with it, in case I do something wrong. Just from curiosity.. where abouts are you ? I'm in the UK.
@@bartbednarz801 it's quite similar to vdash, but Orbit is a good cheaper alternative. Pretty easy to use as you can revert back to original settings if needed. I'm located in Singapore.

I was hoping you were nearby :D I have xc90 with small speedometer screen and Im thinking to upgrade to a full size but I'm not sure what type of programing will be required to make it work or if this is even possible. All connectors looks identical etc, but will it work ? No idea, and I can't find any information about it.
