Ugh I feel so much pain, because I said to my family that Bass was going to miss that field goal too. Just knew it was coming. If I were the Bills, I would have rushed it on second and third downs, and just gone for it on fourth. That would have been much better, as it would have wasted lots of time, and put the Bills in a better, safer position to break through and get closer. i would much rather Josh Allen be stopped short on a lead taking drive than lose due to a missed field goal.

Knox lost his brother in 2023, that whole year his heart was broken. 2024 he was injured. With trams game planning for kincaid, Knox is gonna be a huge target to make positive gains

Von Miller is a guy I wouldn't bet against. This guy single handedly won 2 Super Bowl games alone (with Denver vs Carolina & with Rams he had 4 sacks in that SuperBowl). And he's now had a full off season to train without rehabbing an injury. Von will be fine

Joe I think your research may be wrong. I found 49 players with 6.5 or more sacks age 35 and older. 19 of which had 10+. Regardless I don't have high expectations for von

Tyler Bass was healthy last year. His problem are in his head. Usually this does not end well. The Bills need a reliable kicker that can kick 55+.

Bass needs to stop choking in big moments. Hopefully Miller can bounce back after having more time this offseason. Knox was injured a lot too, so hopefully he can stay healthy and bounce back.

He's definitely on notice, but he's historically been a really good kicker. I think Martin and he had issues with holding. That's likely why they brought Haack in toward the end of the season. My hope is that Browning can win the job outright and they get good chemistry with the holding process. This is is make or break for him for sure though

@@christopherbickelman9431 he was good until he wasn’t. Let’s not waste a Super Bowl or another playoff run finding out on Bass. There has to be 5 guys walking the street with a stronger leg. To me let’s find a kicker whose leg is on par with Allen’s arm. I’m tired of watching Bass shank kicks to the right in cold weather.

I appreciate the stats on 35yr+ sack production and your POV on Von Miller. We should all tap the break on this guy adding significantly to the Bills defense in 2024. Hope is never a good strategy so Rousseau and Epenesa need to raise their games as they are approaching their primes while Miller is at the end of his career. It is what it is…..
@peterwilson4865

He was the only guy that came to play against KC and had a solid game on the entire DL. He'll be 1.5+ years removed from that ACL. They brought him back way too early. Should've been IR'd and brought back by the very end of that window. I think it's very reasonable to expect him to bounce back to at least above average pass rush production. I'm optimistic for 8-10 range. HOF guys like him are cut from different cloth typically.

Another negative expectation. How typical, mainstream sports media talking point of you. If we believe those guys then we suck and will finish 3rd in the AFC East. They're wrong though. We shall see.

Hey Joe, how about holding the Bills’ Training Staff accountable for all these injuries? Are they selecting the right conditioning drills, stretches, warmups? Why do other teams experience less injuries than the Bills?
@Donnybrook10
@Donnybrook10 Месяц назад
It always feels wrong to blame a player for getting injured. We have suffered injuries way beyond the norm over the past 2 seasons. There's no way they can foresee an injury now prevent it. If Knox was so important, they should have put a depth piece behind him who could do his job adequately. When Knox was healthy. he wasn't getting the targets. Holders make or break their kickers. I suspect Bass' problems are exactly why we signed Haack. The problems had to be with the holder because very few kicks were right down the middle. Even the ones he made were drifting right.

Bass needs to be better. I dont know what to say about the injuries. Knox is hurt 2x a season milano is always getting hurt Von Miller is at the end of his career. All the turnover. Rapp is good to hurt at least 2 of our guys and himself at some point.😂 unlucky but as bills fans we are used to not having much luck.🍀

I don't understand this podcast? Injuries in the nfl are a known unknown. We know they are going to happen we just don't know to who and when. I am curious to know what joe thinks the solution is. Should von Miller sit down before the season and have a serious conversation with his ligaments and say hey you guys have to do better? Should Matt Milano go around openly pissed off at his bones because they failed him and didn't try hard enough. Or should players avoid contact in football games? Maybe run slower and sit out more series. Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game, but they happen to every team every year. Guys aren't choosing to get hurt, they are pushing the body's to the limit going against some of the best athletes on the planet. How dare these players have the audacity to get injured

Bass wasn’t injured, miller was injured the year before and Milano wasn’t brought up. The point is that given the money they are making these guys need to perform to those expectations as they are not injured going into this season. Injury risk is implicit in all of these conversations.

Anything we get from Miller will be a bonus. He's a wasted roster spot if he plays like last year. If that happens move to the practice squad and see what we may have in youth. Don't subscribe to play if you get paid, flawed concept.
