His elegant virtuosity in the Rondò is noteworthy; but it's the Adagio that really bowls me over. The legato is constant, seamless; and yet, within it, he is able to phrase with the utmost clarity. An aristocrat of the cello.
The Adagio is just gorgeous... Hypnotizing. Is it really by Weber...or by Piatogorsky himself? Does anyone know regarding this with precission, please? Thank you in advance.
