I went out to Voro Motors in Panorama City, California to test ride their Roadrunner electric scooter as I continue my search for a replacement for my Monday Gen 7. Overall I thought this scooter was great and this is a strong contender for my next personal electric vehicle. I think the uncomfortable complaints were before they improved the seat cushion. How has it been these past few months? Debating between the roadrunner and the Pro. Huge cost difference though.

The seat has been good enough for me. I can ride 20+ miles on the seat and feel ok. The new V2 RR should have the same seat as the pro now. I still like my original roadrunner and have been adding upgrades to it. I just wish it had more power for hill climbing.

I've heard of extremely long wait times for the tronic. Like many months. And it seems like they are trying to phase that out of the lineup. I think they've been having trouble getting parts from Rion

You think the twist throttle would be better ?

I think it would be a matter of preference. I'd say the thumb throttle makes sense for the roadrunner. The twist throttle makes more sense for the roadrunner pro since it has more power & throttle curve & is more similar to a moped/motorcycle

I'll get this over scooters because it's safer at higher speed I did my research scooters gets more accidents than bikes. But this is hybrid I really like alot. I have some questions like. Is this waterproof? Because rains do come will there be a waterproof upgrade on this? The Pro is little bit expensive this is great for me I'm a 6'0 feet tall I'll use this for work to save some gas money.

So this bike actually does not do well in the rain at all. The fenders are not long enough so you get water splashed all over you and the bike. And the bike is NOT waterproof. I've been caught in some scatter showers before and the bike is still ok. Also even if its not raining but the ground is wet, the bike is pretty sketchy. I actually fell pretty bad bc there was mud & dirt on the road which caused my front tire to slip. My 2nd time falling off this bike bc of mud. I'll post a video of it soon. Great review of your scooter, mine arrives in five days. May I ask how tall are you as I am 6 feet and wonder if I’m too tall for it thank you and enjoy.
